This isn't a big deal, but I couldn't help but notice that Weedle has the same color pallet as Kakuna and Beedrill, even though it's supposed to be brown, not yellow. Giving it Pidgey's pallet instead should fix that easily.

A cool project down the road, after yellow legacy and emerald legacy, would be legacy remakes via fire red/leaf green, or heart gold/soul silver. If you are able to do Emerald, then fr/lg shouldn't be too hard. Them with the yellow legacy updates, or hg/ss with the crystal legacy updates would be fun. It should be easy too because most the planning and balance testing is already done with the originals. Plus, easier projects would help keep up the enthusiasm while preventing burnout. Just an idea for after Emerald Legacy.

So, to reference the town that is on the map, but is not in the game. That would be an excellent opportunity to add a “RED” type, legendary rival that might be randomly mentioned throughout the game. Like some ambiguous person that you hear so much about and you know is a threat, but you never see them until the end. Kind of how they did Gannon in the first legend of Zelda, or Giygas in Earthbound. And I think that final champion would be really cool if their name was, Smith. A badass, ending fight that is based off you and your favorite Pokémon.

@@jensino feel like it could be a “fix” personally, as awesome as yellow was, they didn’t do a really good job hyping up the mystery of Pokémon. It’s just collect a bunch of things and battle. I feel like an ambiguous fight with an ambiguous trainer at the very very end, could do a really good job, creating a sense of mystery in these games that was never there before. Personally at least.

When Beedrill got that crit, it basically negated all the Tail Whips from Pikachu, so I wasn't sure why you were so excited. It did the same damage, if not more, without the crit.

Idk why but I've always liked the idea of Brock having Ninetails along with the other two having ember growl roar and tackle.... Just so a player can learn early on how tricky a battle with a gym leader can be but maybe it wouldn't fit or maybe it would who knows

You can talk to Pikachu in Yellow to light up Rock Tunnel. That is an option for people who don't want to back track. An NPC or trainer mentioning that talking to Pikachu in the dark may do that would be a good way to make sure people know it's an option.

Gameplay the game is looking crazy good, some really big improvements since last time! Would it be possible to add Goldeen to old rod fishing? Its a cool water pokemon who provides no advantage to the brock fight but lets you start getting that stat xp on it a bit earlier then can use water gun tm on it in Mt Moon. Personally a huge part of the strategy in gen one is when to use strong TMs, making them rebuyable later on just feels very not Gen 1, i think that's adding something that subtracts from the experience may be something to do a Poll on?

Easy way to get bulbasaur. Just use a potion on Pikachu like 7 or 10 times, even if it's at full health, talk to the woman and she gives you bulbasaur.

Oh other things i was going to say! Keep Pidgeotto strong in early game, Fearow, Dodrio and even Far'fetched are just so much better than Pigeot so giving it a stronger early game gives it that reason to take it!

I never used the Badge™ Boost™ Glitch™ and most enemies never used or got to lower/change my stats. I also traded my Pikachu over to Pokemon Red to evolve it and trade it back so I will have to cheat to get my Raichu after I get to Celadon City. Also also, was Razor Wind changed to something like Ominous Wind or anything else typing/BP wise? I'm not much of a Discord enjoyer in case every change is announced there, since I can't find that on your YT page.

Thunder Wave is one of the few staying unchanged

I understood it as stat moves, not status moves. Screech, Barrier etc. are Bird type while Spore, T-wave etc. are keeping their types. Poison types would keep being immune to Poison Powder, Grass types immune to Sleep Powder, Electric types immune to T-wave etc.

The Pidgey went from level 4 to level 6, skipping level 5 and never learning the move. In gen 1, experience gained is applied all at the same time. If you get enough exp to level up more than 1 level, you skip any move that would be learned at that level.
