I just remember him talking about it a couple of times in his last bootcamp streams where he shared a lot of behind the scenes. @@akosiely That's new information to me. I can't believe it 100% without checking, but I have no reason not to trust you. It makes sense that Riot would do that. There was however a point that Riot was providing funds and he was still taking applications. If that's no longer true then my stance is updated. That's not why I wouldn't check his vods. I can't stand to watch someone like him. There's a reason I only have 600 channel points in his channel. I didn't avoid being a boxbox tier player by not learning anything or deluding myself. Set 11 was my least favorite set an hour into PBE, after a few days it was my third least favorite, it's stayed that way. Maybe boxbox can be my set 11. If I only implied anything, I meant to state it outright. Even if it's different now, he was doing it previously, so it doesn't quite disagree anyway. It only implies Riot has more control over the event now.

I'm excited to see how charm's play, as opposed to everyone else here who's just instantly complaining about how they expect them to feel. I understand you can envision a world where you don't hit something perfect and your opponent does, but that's ultimately how the game works. Sometimes your opponent 2 stars their 4 cost on stage 3, and once in a blue moon, YOU highroll something like that. They didn't make them sound insanely impactful, a few seconds of CC or CC immunity can be fight winning, but your opponent won't know who they're fighting until the late game, at which point you also have the opportunity to counter them with YOUR charm.

@@AidenIsElite I dont think so. You can't play around encounters, they show up randonly for everone at the same time, you have no agency. With charms, you get to pick and choose what is the best for you at that moment. I think it has a way bigger skill expression
