Playtive / Lidl Glider Plane conversion MKIII

Third Lidl XL glider plane. This time... throttle, rudder and elevator. Front mounted 9g servos (snakes cut into grooves in the fuselage sides, and covered with Duck type tape), 1000mah 20C (I think) 3s LiPo, 5030 propeller, Generic 2280KV 1806 motor, 12A Mantis Esc. 283g AUW.
A very surprisingly fun little flier - with some quirky flight characteristics. I'd estimate 12-15 minute flights would be quite achievable.

Yes - aren't they fun!? I think I have another two in the loft for future projects. This one seems much more aerobatic than I planned for... Hope yours turns out well!

Where do you put you battery for the right CG ?

Hi... It was right on the CG in a cutout in the fuselage under the wing.

Hallo, ich hatte alle Teile schon und den Schirm habe ich mir vor ein oder zwei Jahren gekauft. Kostet wahrscheinlich insgesamt etwa 50 £, ohne den Sender.

Sorry I don't have the model to hand but it's where the CG of the model is when built as a standard, out-of-the-box chuck glider.
