What allowed Miller to continue writing without fear? 2:25 Essentially, they never threatened to shoot him. He only feared death, because he always had freedom to write.

Probably the best American play writer of the 20th century. View From The Bridge has played for months and months in London to packed houses and now NYC and was streamed to theaters across the country and this was up to now one of his 2nd tier plays. And it was written over 50 years ago. The USA isn't a serious country any more and it neither understands nor can take any kind of intellectual punch, but the ghost of Arthur Miller keeps trying to bring it around

@@lawrencewellington2343 Yes there is, democratic socialism does try to better the lives of the average citizens meanwhile "freedom" branded as corporatism is shilled out to Americans to slurp up as "living the dream" while they live paycheck to paycheck, drown in debt, inflation, and if they're poor and wish for better standards, just brand them as "lazy" or "communists". Defend corporatism more, maybe the federal gov will add 50 cents into your account for your efforts you corporate shill

"but he is the only person-as another human being that I trust as much as myself" (Monroe re: Arthur Miller) "His children, aged twelve and nine, adored her and were reluctant to return to their mother when the weekend was over. As she was also fond of older people, she got along well with his parents, and the feeling was mutual." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arthur_Miller

Facism is not left nor right it's Facist. It can come in the guise of the left or the right. The Nazi's claimed to be both right wing and socialist depending on who they were speaking to.
