Hello, I will be stopping over in Taoyun airport and would like to go to one of the Plaza Premium Lounges. How come you chose the lounge in Zone A as opposed to A1? Is one better than the other?

Hello. Good question. The Plaza Premium lounge in Zone A is an enclosed lounge (has a roof) whereas the Plaza Premium lounge in Zone A1 is open which makes for a noisier environment. Zone A1 lounge is smaller. The last time I visited Zone A1 was in 2019 so I don’t have a recent experience with the food offerings.

How can you buy a 3 hours day pass for this lounge? Do they take U.S. cash? Master Card or VISA?

@CanTho2022 Hi. I do not recall that TPE Plaza Premium lounge having free massage recliner chairs. The shower rooms were free to reserve when I visited in May 2023.

Is the shower facility included in the price? I checked online and it mentioned charges may apply. So i got a bit confused 😅

Hi. When I went in May 2023, the shower rooms were included with admission to the lounge. Offerings and amenities, and even admission via Priority Pass, are always subject to change. But for years, the only paid upgrade is for the private rooms by the halllway

Hi. I see the “charges may apply” on the Plaza Premium website. When you click through TPE Plaza Premium’s website and download the fact sheet, it says: “Shower Room* •Reservations can be made at the reception •Complimentary amenity items include: Shower Gel, Shampoo, Bath Towel, Dental Kit, Hair Dryer, Comb, Shower Cap”
