Nice video, thanks for posting this. I have a unit I bought in 2011, and now it's 2022. The self-test still shows three flashes of the LED, which means it's still fully charged. (The number of flashes is from 0 to 3, giving a measure of its charge.) Amazing how long these batteries last. Personally, I don't plan to worry about the battery charge until the self-test shows fewer than three flashes.

Thanks for the info . Found custom made batteries on e-bay for 50 bucks. It took me 10 minutes to swap them out with your help .

Were you really rebuilding that on a paper magazine? High static damage risk, better off with a grounding wrist strap on a grounded mat. Just a thought.

He is correct ,static charge is always a major concern when working on sensitive electronics
