Thank you for the video. I have solved the problem with wrong counting. Sensors (left and right) do not count boxes, but the pallet legs. Try to change the place of the sensors.

Thank you for the tutorial. Regarding the issue with wrong counting (i would get increments of 2 or 3 when just 1 should have been reported), I tried placing the sensors better as a comment here suggests but it would still be triggered 2 or three times. So I used a TOF timer on network 14 and 15, so that the positive trigger will be kept as ON for 2 seconds causing the sensor to not send a negative trigger (or lets say the counter not to accept one) then again a positive while the box is moving. This way for the period that the box moves through the sensor, it detects it only once.

While i connect S7PLCSIM driver, and following all the steps like compile....but still it is showing error that "can not connect to S7-PLCSIM V5. Please check that it's is running and try again"

hi, i had the same problem. in project tree right click on name of project (white sheet paper icon) and go to properties > protection and chceck "support simulation during block compilation".
