I can think of nothing that a CTD can do that you cannot do with a CTU, unless you combine the two for a CTUD. Maybe I am wrong. Thanks for the video.

You're absolutely right. I believe it's just a matter of perspective. In other words, if you have a scenario where you're counting down in the real world, it makes more sense from a human perspective to use the CTD. It makes it easier to "visualize" what is going on. Otherwise, they can be used interchangeably.
