Quick question regarding programming PLC controllers : you basically need both a text-based program and visual-based one for the controller to work ? Or is it possible to only stick to text-based ?

Hey Demyan, as per my experience, it depends on the complexity of the program you are implementing and the capability of the PLC you're using. Some PLC/ manufacturers, you can use both graphical and text based language on the same project depending on what's easy to program a particular instruction but to some PLCs especially the small ones, they are designed for one language.

HI sir, kindly help me to solve this task. I know the ladder programming but i am not able write the structure one. task is :Create a PLC program in structured text that moves a simulation axis from one point to another and back again (a trip). It shall make this trip a number of times. It will have the following properties: Written in structure text and in C/C++ (two versions). Each move shall have different velocity, accel, decel and jerk. There shall be a delay at both points. It shall be possible to configure how many times the axis makes the trip. It shall be possible to start and stop the axis at any point. A simulated EStop variable shall be made available.
