It shouldn't be, you might need to check your bandwidth and Wi-Fi reception. When it's fully loaded you should have very close to HD. Both on the catalog's themselves and the video...I'm sorry you're having trouble with it. Best Peter

The 'Budai' refered to here as 'Buddha' isn't a 'buddha' as such, though an enlightened being; he's more properly understood as a secondary Chinese deity of prosperity, also Hotei or Pu-tai. The buddha was a slim to scrawny ascetic; whenever a laughing corpulent figure is labeled 'Buddha', it's really Hotei or Budai. There are other major forms of 'Buddha' -- Vairocana, Amida, Maitreya, Gautama -- but Hotei isn't one of them. This is rudimentary knowledge.

I think if you check a bit you'll find the Budai (laughing monk with a bag, aka Hotei Buddha in Japan) was viewed by many as the incarnation of the Maitreya Buddha or the future Buddha. The Budai was the only one based on a living person from the 10th C. unlike the others who were all originated in mythology. I will watch my pronunciation however to avoid confusion..Best Peter
