Is there a way to make a cedh based around the Godzilla from ikoria themed deck card's? Figured I'd ask as it's a project I've personally been working on, and haven't really seen anyone on KZbin base a commander deck on the Godzilla cards.

Hey prof! Just commenting as a reply so you see it. I watched your latest WhatNot stream and heard you mention that you were thinking about doing a Shuffle up and Play video on Sorcery TCG. Firstly, I am ecstatic and giddy from hearing that. Secondly, If you need to borrow any cards or anything I have two full playsets and a draft cube made I would be more than willing to send to you if it would help! I am in no way affiliated with the company, just a fan of yours and of Sorcery who would love to see more people learn about and play my new favorite game.

@@thestormtrooperwhocanaim496 I still think you're missing the point. The issue they have with how Vince explained it was more how what started as a dirty joke got more and more involved and desperate with each sentence, to the point that how he was explaining it was hilarious and was never gonna match up to the actually-quite-boring reality, so shouldn't have even started that wild ride in the first place (because the reality was always gonna be pretty boring). It wasn't about the donuts specificially at all; it'd have been the same if he was comparing it to packing and unpacking a suitcase or anything describing stuff going into and out of it. I.e. basically by the point of the second or third sentence, it was never about the donuts, and they were gonna rip into Vince whatever over-eager analogy he was making, and he couldn't understand that this is what they were really doing, because he was so eager to prove himself right.

@@ethanhughes3515 It's an OK mechanic. The issue with it, however, is it's yet another thing to try to keep track of and is a 'non-interactable' mechanic similar to day and night. Once it's 'in play' through a card effect it's there and everyone now has to keep track of their own dungeon. I'd rather them just play with Enter the Dungeon instead, play your own dungeon. Don't make others HAVE to play with your gimmick also.

Battle for Baldur's Gate is definitely an underrated set, but most of the people at my usual table have been well aware of Abdel Adrian + Candlekeep Sage since it came out. He's easily the best Blink commander since Brago and is probably the best one overall since he can easily go infinite by himself off of Restoration Angel or Felidar Guardian. Plus he has all of Brago's usual shenanigans like permanent exiling with O-Ring and free Manifesting with Cloudform, and Adrian also gives you card draw from your command zone. For higher level play you can swap out a lot of Vince's durdling for Anthem effects (like Intangible Virtue or Meadowboon) or Annointed Procession to double up on tokens and force creature damage through in combat. And for even faster wins you can swap the Anthems out for Altar of the Brood or Altar of Dementia to deck the entire table at instant speed for wins during Upkeep. And since you're in blue, you can also Thassa's Oracle yourself into a win as well. Abdel Adrian blink decks can be incredibly strong and very competitive.

Prof, I love how you achieved game play episodes in your own way. I love how it really shows the humor and casual aspect of commander. You and Command Zone, despite the differences in how you do game play episodes, both produce high quality shows. I love it!

@@sstanfo1 Not only is it annoying to explain every game but it, unlike 'venture', it forces everyone at the table to do it too. If I wanted to dungeon, I'd have made a deck to dungeon. Yet now I've GOT to track a dungeon throughout the game because of it. It's more tracking in a game with enough to track as is.

The cute lesson of resource management. A tool and important factor of an control player too. Force the use of resource and you gain tempo. Being able to reserve resource for timing is an advantage, so vital to encourage a force of resource usage.

I think a deck like that is only fun for the one playing it. When a single player takes 60 out of the 90ish minutes for their turns, it makes for a very boring game for most others. Personally, I’d get bored playing it too. Slooooooow. If someone has to narrate their turn that much, they quickly turn into one of those people who others don’t enjoy being around because they never stop talking.

I typically don't watch Commander games despite playing a ton but this was one of the best I've ever seen. Professor made a big mistake when that Dragon was dealing damage to his slivers, he could have bounced everything that was being targeted back to hand before the complete resolution of the ability.
