Pleasant Vally High School Students Tour Transfer Flow

ROP students at Pleasant Valley High School in Chico, California visited Transfer Flow to learn about the variety of jobs available in manufacturing facilities. During their visit, the students observed how products are manufactured at Transfer Flow. Students had the opportunity to observe various manufacturing equipment, including a laser cutter, brake press, CNC vertical mill, welding robots, as well as the powder coating process. Throughout the tour, students learned about the skills they will need if they pursue a job in manufacturing. The goal is to have the students return and create their own projects based on curriculum developed by teachers with help from Transfer Flow.
