Yes, I tried it a view months back, but I failed, all Sims died or I quit it because 1 hour gameplay was so excausting for me xD. How did I do that as a eleven year old child with nearly no gaming experience in the early 2000s. (wasnt allowed to have a gameboy or playstation or something like that^^, but the Sims )

They need to bring back watering houseplants! And changing light bulbs while they're at it! And cats bringing dead mice to you in the middle of the night 😂 That's the most realistic detail ever. Waking up at 4am to suspicious slurping and crunching noises.

You barely even have to take care of your plants right now in sims 4, watering and weeding option are always blacked out. The only way to raise gardening skill is to read book which is lame! (there's that bonsai plant thingy but it takes a while to use though) Hoping they fix it with the next expansion but I wouldn't be surprise if they don't.

You don't know how excited I was to see this! TS1 gardening is amazing. Giant crops, bunny infestations, and you can use the ingredients to make different foods like carrot cake. I don't think I've ever tried gardening without a cat to hunt all the gophers and rabbits thou. 😂

So happy to see someone other than just me playing TS1. I still play it to this day and balance it with 2 tbh. Makin Magic just added so much fun stuff, and I'm a huge fan of the enchanted garden gnomes that get drunk in the wine maker. EA wont bring them back because theyre cowards.

@@KailynnKat I think it would be very difficult to play sims1 rotationally, they dont have proper days and there isnt a story progression either. Not saying it couldn't be done or that it wouldnt be really fun to watch but it would be difficult.

I really liked that you have to water house plants and fend off different pests. Things like that - a bit toned down obviously - could have made gardening more fun and in-depth in other Sims games. Especially in Sims 2, where some of the juices you can make feel a bit cheaty, pests could make them a bit more challenging to get.

I know people usually find Sims 2 the most crazy sims game, but Sims 1 is golden. Bears in tutu stealing your honey, "strippers" comming out of giant cakes, the list goes on. I miss it so much ❤ I'd thrown the craziest parties in Sims 1 and invite about everyone at the neighborhood to dance inside those cages.

I've been playing Sims since the Sims 1, but did I ever know there was gardening in Unleashed? No, apparently, as a 10-year-old all I cared about was buying pets because my parents never allowed my brother and me to have some! 😂 The gardening system is super interesting!

Last year I downloaded Sims 1 to refresh my memory about it. Holy crap. That was HARD. I was fair and honest, I played without codes, and worked like a slave xD. It was tiresome, but in the same time sooo satisfying when you got a promotion, got a new friend, survived the first fire, got married, bought better items to make your sims happy. Love Sims 1

Wow, it's so true to real life. I started playing the Sims with Sims 2, so this is new to me. I love the realistic play. Not all apples are edible, so this game even has that down! Inedible apples won't hurt you, they are just gross to eat, so you make booze or vinegar from them. The edible varieties are known as "eating apples" and they very domestic (you won't find them growing wild). It takes generations of trees to have an edible variety. If it dies, you start over, the seeds do not make what the parent produced.

The cat is Menelaus Goth, he is one of the cats of Mortimer's parents. It's because in sims 1 your neighbours pets can also visit you, and you can see others sims' pets in community lots in old town and vacation island. It's shame that the pets can't go to others "towns", but it's a nice detail :)

I love Sims 1 and its so nostalgic to me. Its fun stuff. I was giggling and laughing pretty hard while watching. I even spit my drink all over myself and my counter cracking up! LOL. My husband was walking through Kitchen while I was cleaning and listening and he said - "Did she just say if you've got some Big Vegetables come see me Farmer Bob" I said why yes, yes she did. LOL

I just loved this video, as an older sims player, I can remember how much enjoyment I had learning to play the sims 1. It was so hard! Just learning a new game without any type of guide. I struggled. The sims made the discovery of all the little quirks. inside jokes, and hidden Easter eggs fun as well as challenging. I still learn new things about this game because it is near impossible to know all the little hidden nuances. This type of game play is the heart of the Sims community. I miss it. Sims 1 is so nostalgic for me. I used to play it for hours on end. There were a few school nights when I'd stay up until 2 or 3AM and have to be up by 5AM to get ready. It was similar for Sims 2. Both games are still solid. I know a lot of people love Sims 3, but I gave up on it and went back to Sims 1 and 2 until I couldn't get it to work on my computer. Sadly, my discs got lost in a cross country move, so I'm stuck with Sims 4 right now.

I had this pack when I was 8, and I didn't know how to get a real pet for my sims - a cat or a dog - I mean. So what I did was building a fence around a skunk or a raccoon... Also: please please please more sims 1 videos!!!

NEVER EVER let sims in The Sims use the stove if they don't have at the very least 2-3 skill points, rather 3 my very first experience with this series was the Bachelor guy dying of stove fire, since then i prefer salads in all sims games for all beginner sims :D))) & thank you for this series :D The Sims is the hardest to play from all sims games probably shouldn't have made a super neat gardener, rather the opposite, cause then hygiene drops astronomically that was a very fun video :D

I love Sims 1 SO MUCH. It gives me major nostalgia, but beyond that, it's just a good game. They added lots of details in and it's so well-done to have been the first game in a franchise.
