Composed by Charles Brown and released in 1960, the songe made the charts in 9 seasons, hitting number 1 in 1972. Other notable artitst who covered the song were The Eagles in 1978 (this version), and Bon Jovi in 1992, featuring super model Cindy Crawford in the music video. This was the first Eagles song which featured Timothy B. Schmit on bass. The lead vocals featured Don Henley. The song has all the characteristic of a Christmas song, with melodic bells, choir chorus, and the longing for a loved one during the holidays.
I mixed some back up vocals, drum pads, acoustic bass, rhythm guitar (alternative for keyboards), and lead guitar. Merry Christmas!
