Hi Paul and Angela You can get the train to lucena then the bus to priego de cordoba . It’s not too difficult to do, particularly if it’s worth your while and you are staying for a few weeks. It’s a stunning town, like stepping back in time.

Hello Lesley. L❤ve your channel. I would very much like to retire and live permanently in Spain in a few years time. I'm looking for property definitely below 100k euros.How come many of the properties are cheap compared to the UK ? When the properties are nicer than the UK properties and the weather is so much nicer ? I am looking for a walk in ready property with furniture if possible. I'm an older lone woman so looking for a safe area. Anywhere you can recommend ? I'll try to get over to Spain next year during annual leave.

Hi Thankyou for your lovely comments. The properties are cheap generally as they are in inland villages where the younger Spanish who inherit properties either have their own or go to live in the cities. You are right, the properties are lovely and particularly quirky and in a great climate. You can get a lot for up to 100k Let me know when you are ready to move. The area that I work in of priego de cordoba is extremely safe and there a lot of single women who retire to the area.
