Couple things that are pretty egregious errors in his video as well: 1. The 2017 teaser trailers did not link to pre orders but to steam wish list and a crowd funding site. The preorder breakdown he showed, and the gold/platinum editions, didn’t exist until the full gameplay trailer released last year. 2. Gaijen moved to Hungary in 2015 not 2022, a fact that is easily found on their Wikipedia page

This is the behavior that slowly desenzitives people about the conflict in UA, due to the pointless sh!tposts and high-horse mentality oozing from every aspect of the boycott/sanctions. The fken audacity to think - One would report the game based on the local law of a country… sure I’ll report Doom for breaking Vatican canon law. - One SHOULD cancel a pre-order based on this pile of garbage argument and donate the money to ukraine (if you do not donate it’s still okay but I’ll still use a tone like the Duolingo terror to make you feel shit… Hell why don’t you just cancel and spend the money on a plane ticket to join the ukranian army? Not really. If there's an under 2 hour refund. I'd refund it. It's bland, lacks a breath of life, it takes elements directly from atleast 5 well known games and somehow has no enjoyable aspects. And truely fun enjoying gameplay. The collectable diologe is more interesting than most of this game. It starts with 20 minutes minimum of not playing the game at the start. It's boring and un-skipable intro that doesn't lead or have much interest or information to the start of the game. Not to mention the foreshadowing of the slow interactions and puzzle mechanics that leaves you with nothing but the question why im playing this and gives more time while you ride a gondola or elevator while in progress to complete a puzzle to think and look for enjoyment in this game. @@VitaeLibra The problem is not him paying taxes. The problem is russians who are okay with living in an authoritarian dictatorship who wagging conquest/genocidal wars all of their existence. There were like ten years in russian history where they didn't have a tyrant on the throne. Many of them worship Lenin and Stalin even now, and they know that Stalin literally killed millions of russians. If you watch any interview with russians on the street, quite often on any political question, you will hear the answer, "our government is the smart people. They know better than us, so I'm not thinking about politics at all". They literally have a demand in their society for tyrants and they are okay with it. "Putins war" is complete bs. The majority of russians are okay with Putin and with him wagging war even if they will be living in total shit. The people you are talking about are literally considered a marginal minority inside of russia, and many of them have already left the country. The problem with "asmon fan base club" in this comment section, is that you are living mostly in the US in your bubble and trying to extrapolate your US situation in every possible situation in the world. This is complete bs approach. You don't know russians, you don't know their society, and you don't know their history and relationships with neighboring countries. If you meet a russian, you can assume that he fully supports the war in one way or another, and 99 out of 100 times, you will be right. And the fact that this russian lives not in russia doesn't mean shit. There are russians who are living in Berlin, Estonia, and Latvia, and at the start of the war, they had protests, but not against the war, they had marched in support of russia/putin, and their actions. You are mor*ns who assume that they don't want the war and that they are just "regular people", but you have zero knowledge about their society and the context of this war.

As someone who does event management, an event is planned months in advance, you usually need at least 6 months before the main event to plan and coordinate everything and once a date is set it's nearly impossible to change that date, think of things like catering, valet services, the people who supply the tables, the people who supply the plants, people who supply the tarps, etc etc. The fact it coincided with the new anti lgbt law is purely coincidental.

This exactly people don't just hate games with politics like everything in the metal gear series for example because despite basing some of the in game politics on reality the politics in those games are for the most part fictional and made to serve the story of mgs itself Kojima didn't feel the need to try and preach to his fans about his own political beliefs he rather presented you the facts of the story and basically left it to you to figure out your feelings on it. As for the Why of why someone would fake their name, in case you didnt know, but there is a lot of discrimination agenst Asians over in America so having an American name when you are from Asia would help you to get less discrimination. An other reason, as a Scandinavian, my name is nearly imposible for american and english speakers to pronounce, much less remember, so i have an englishified name that is easyer for americans to say and remember. Because saying "Hi am Fred" is a lot better then "Hello, my name is Hooka Daku Krunshnifi Ashlak", i assume its easier for Asians to do the same.

If decisions whether to support or develop a game should be based on whether the theme of the game or some of the developers ideology coincides with certain negative connotations or whether those "offends" some people in some way, then no game would ever be made, ever. true but i would put negative connotations not really together with being supportive of mass genocide upon a population. thats like having a game being made by nazis and people still support it because oh well its just a game right? some issues are really not that problematic. some are being put bigger than they are like with hogwarts. but a company that says its based in cyprus but is really based in russia and states its pro peace yet doesnt want to say they are against the russian war directly eh thats all very fishy.

I think argument is about how nazi themed things are not okay and Soviet themed things are ok? Like how having nazi themed birthday party would attract a lot of negative attention compared to Soviet themed one. This point suffers from the same things as his other points - it only makes sense in the context of being a Ukrainian, since there's a lot of negative feelings towards USSR there, as well as the mentioned new law banning sexuality in advertisements. People in most of the world see nazies as smth very negative, while soviets are still bad, but most people don't really care much. So for a person from Ukraine it's possible to see smth Soviet related the same way some American would see smth Nazi related. It's just that not nearly as much people have this strong of an opinion on USSR, and it's not considered wrong/unmoral. (Also maybe because Nazi had that whole race superiority, and USSR was supposed to be a multi national place)

I LOVE this game! I'm thoroughly enjoying it. But what I DON'T like is that in order to get resources to progress you need to explore to gather resources. By the time you have gained new resources you have to replenish what you've used to survive. Making it almost impossible to craft new weapons. Killing robots attracts repair bots, which sends up the alert level which attracts more robots. Taking out the cameras also attracts repair bots. The pistol is nice and all but once you've used that power the other powers have no charge. There is no time to chill out and explore and gather. It's always super full-on battle whenever we try to explore. The robot spread rate needs to be nerfed.
@radscorpion8
@radscorpion8 Жыл бұрын
In my playthrough, a few judicious skill choices and you shouldn't take that much damage fighting enemies (I loved cryo at the start of the game, but in principle any skill carefully used would do the same trick). I was more often than not able to get more medicine back from them just as a random loot drop than what I used. You have to be careful at first, taking only small packs or one at a time. And second, I discovered that its useful to fight the bots inside of houses where the repair bots can't reach them. If you can lure enough into a house then you won't have to worry about respawns. Failing that you can try bringing down the "hawk" by gaining access to its control station on the ground. It should be down for like 10-15 minutes allowing you to mop up the bots with relative ease and not have to worry about alerts bringing in reinforcements. Also not sure if you realize but the powers use energy that is independent from that used by your weapons. You can have zero energy left for the energy pistol and still use all your powers. I played on hard and finished the game only a few days ago, only using energy weapons and a saw blade melee weapon :P. I don't like relying on ammo As you level up your abilities you can steamroll through many of them. I don't want to spoil the best ability but there is one in particular that is mind blowingly effective haha
