Something like this literally just happened to me. I was brought a friend to my favorite taco place, and he started unloading this work story on me and I was like, "I'm sorry and I promise I'm listening, but you are already well aware these seats DO have a time limit and we haven't ordered and you can continue your story while we wait." It took both me and the waitress working together to get him to order something in between story details.

One thing I notice about the PDD videos -- they're brilliantly shot and edited. The beats in the humor are incredibly carefully planned, so are sound effects (notice the subtlety of when the "Ramen Fever" background music creeps in). The hand held camera look may be casual looking, but a lot of work went into that candid look. Really well done.
