So there's a lot of debate about the legitimacy of "eating tide pods" and I've done some research to help resolve these issues! The Tide Pod Challenge is a real thing! The meme exists purely because eating tide pods is friggin stupid! The challenge has existed as long as tide pods have been sold, since 2011, and have always consisted of teens biting the pods to record them bursting basically. Many of the times they don't EAT the pods but the main issue is the pod contents are HIGHLY toxic and still do extreme damage to your mouth and throat even when not intentionally consumed. In 2012 there were reports of young children mistaking them as candy so tide added a safety latch to the product to prevent accidental ingestion. There have been ten deaths on record associated to tide pod consumption, they have happened over the course of the products existence (not just in the last month) but incidents of injury from detergent has increased massively in the last month compared to all of 2017. Don't do the thing, it's stupid and you're supposed to be smart enough to find ANYTHING ELSE better to do with your time.

When you said not to use latex as an adhesive, I had a moment of freaking out since I did that for Halloween XD but then I realised you meant it just does not work as well as other products. Jamiah Is Awesome sure thing. It's a new internet "challenge". Remember the ice bucket challenge? Except that was safe and for a good purpose. This is a horrible trend that kids and teenagers alike are purposefully biting and sometimes eating Tide Pods and recording the reactions! Which is incredibly dangerous and can kill people!
