Donkeys will protect your livestock better than a dog. I believe they are very much under appreciated. Their jaw clamping power is off the charts.

That's what I've heard. We actually got our Livestock guardian dogs before donkey as we were looking for a donkey but didn't find one and with the rise in predators, we needed to be proactive. It would be interesting to see how much bite power they have!
