Faelin's Sigil got "fixed," apparently it had the same properties that Stone of Malevolence used to have where it was based on total damage rather than base damage. There is no longer a reliable way to regain Ouroboros in one hit. This build is officially dead. Thank you Gunfire

Yo I’ve been playing with this for a bit, and i think it might be the most fun and most creative build I’ve ever used. The loop is fun and rewarding but also takes skill. Not too much though where you lose everything if you make a mistake. And the dps is really competitive. Thank you so much for putting this together.

try this one... starkiller + 2nd weapon with space crabs... use the necklace that gives a 20-25% chance to not consume a mod charge and the mutator that gives a 15% chance to do the same on space crabs... spam shoot space crabs at an enemy then shoot it with starkillers mod and once it explodes it will detonate ALL crabs in its AOE dealing massive damage

I am glad you’re loving the build. I tried it last night and I think my old gamer hands on my controller just found the rotation to be a bit much. I was able to pull it off a few times and I know it’d take practice, but if it weren’t my hands letting me down I feared for my left bumper. Either way it’s pretty cool throwing the spear for 7k. I probably should have tried it on something other than mother mind, but I could feel the limits of my hardware… my hands approaching

Oh man, I'm having so much fin with this build, thanks! Couple alternatives to Probability Cord I used: First is Black Pawn Stamp - only because I didn't have access to mythic relic fragments - less damage but loop felt more consistent. And second is (and oh boy how I like it!) Burden of the Audacious. This ring has awesome interaction with the build - your Worm Hole is now is restoring 10% hp instead of consuming 15% (since WH is a perfect dodge)! Which allows you to spam Worm Hole to quickly jump through the map and to not be afraid to lose health and even heal in between encounters!

I doubt the devs will change Ouroboros to just mod damage, it and Ring of Spears are intended to be melee. For Ouroboros it's part of Deceit's design.

To keep yourself always aiming at the enemy you’re facing, you can teleport while aiming at the boss. Problem with that is the ouroboros mod will hit the enemy and ruin the crit from your spear. I decided to put on creeping mist on a mod-less primary and adding the gifted trait at max to allow the damage boost from wormhole to last longer, allowing more time to aim. However, the time needed to shoot creeping mist and then wormhole again can exceed the 3 seconds of the decoy so it can get dicey trying to time it right with the boss getting aggro on you again. The mist does no damage so it won’t trigger the crit, but it does apply a debuff that can help in coop if someone is using status builds. I recommend deceit for bosses you can’t safely teleport behind though because some fly, the creeping mist build is better for bosses that melee and follow you around.

Nice build. I'd probably go with Burden of the Rebel rather than Stargazer since you're probably not going to be actually consuming a relic very often.

My build uses both, if you go back and look to see which rings I have equipped. We need both because either one on its own is insufficient to keep us net positive on the cooldown rotation. We can't even swap one of them for the Black Pawn Stamp, because even a 5% loss in cooldown means we will eventually be unable to restore a full worm hole charge upon Ouroboros usage.

@@YourSponsor Damn, I should pay attention. I hate using Stargazer on my Invader builds because I all too frequently find my health depleted after spamming Wormhole and some ad I didn't see stabs me in the back and one shots me.

@@kizmo2317 That's why we have Siphoner, Leech, and Profane Heart. With all of those combined, we gain more than we spend as long as we don't miss the spear throw. In the boss showcase, there are numerous times where I get hit by adds or fumble into stage hazards and survive because we're always topping off. Venom even stabs me at one point, I somehow survive despite being in light armor, and I heal back to full before stumbling into one of those hurt circles on the ground which also doesn't kill me. the downsides of Stargazer are completely negated by this setup.

@@YourSponsor So, I put the build together and tried it. Man, that 2 second window on Opportunist is pretty tight. I wonder if you could sub Akari War Band for Probability Cord to potentially keep you in crits if you miss that 2 second window? Sort of like training wheels on a bicycle. Btw, I am in awe of your gameplay and I subbed despite your protestations.

I'm fairly new to your content but it does seem like you are trying to break the game (which i must say is working beautifully) however there is a ring that you missed that i think would be a better fit instead of the 15% crit chance. imo red ring of death would probably work better boosting damage by duplicating the status you last applied but only decreasing that status damage by 10% it sounds crazy but I've been using it with spear and without anything equipped but that and my spear and i hit for 2400 on crits

Had to do some math for this, but sadly that ring doesn't work for what we're doing. I'm not using a ring that grants 15% crit chance, I'm using Probability Cord which raises the crit damage by 20%. Red Ring of death would turn our 300 damage over time corrosive proc into two separate dots of 270 each, so an increase of 240 damage per spear throw. Probability Cord, however, raises our spear throw damage from 6276 damage to 7036, an increase of 760 damage, more than triple what the red ring of death is giving us. Red Ring of Death is something you would want to use on builds focused on status damage, but we don't really care about status damage on this build, we only care that the corrosive proc makes us deal 10% more damage to them while it's on them. the damage is irrelevant.

@@YourSponsor It'd be, probably fairly interchangable in the long run to be honest. Depending on how quickly you execute the combo you will probably average out enough tics if not more than the damage you get from a spear hit. Accounting for sloppy gameplay red ring probably ekes out the advantage, whereas if you're really on point with it Probability wins by a bit. Love this build btw, Huntress Spear is my favorite weapon and I'm constantly looking at new ways to monkey with it.

It's a drop from one of the randomly spawning Domination Aberrations. You just have to get lucky. You can try to force an encounter with one by using the N'erud method; start a Apocalypse Adventure in N'erud, get into the first open area, pick a fight with a drone but don't kill it, wait three or four minutes so that you trigger an ambush event or two, if an aberration appears then you kill it, otherwise you reroll and try again. And remember that if you do finally find one, Opportunist is just one of the many things that it might drop.
