Great vid! Pushing to prod is pretty abhorrent behavior, but tbf, all of Peter Level’s repos are private & he’s the only developer working on them.

Still relevant if one of his accounts were compromised: nation state actor pwns his account, makes a malicious commit deep in the log that would be REALLY hard to detect, force pushes, deploys straight to prod. Even for solo projects, sane branch protection rules just make sense.
