I've always liked this song. And I remember the very first time I heard it. It was being sung by the frog in the Warner Brothers cartoon "One Froggy Evening" where the frog would dance and sing only for its new owner, and nobody else. This set up frustration in the owner who was trying to make money with it. It was 1955.

Just heard for the first time... omg, that was so good. 🔥 i could listen that on repeat forever. On my way to listen to older stuff that i only wished i had heard long before now.
