Little children easily understand that the Gift is Free : Everlasting Life: John 1:12-13,3:1-18,:10-14,5:24,6:28-47,10,11:23-27,20:31; Acts 16:31 ; Galatians 2:16 ; 1 Timothy I:16 . Gotta be like a child .

Gift = Free.. if a gift is not free = it is not a "gift" .. Salvation can never be "earned"

I believe we must repent and believe the good news, I believe a Christian can't continue to sin like they used to do so easily and going through sanctification, I believe a Christian must continue believing and actually are in a state of continual believing, lastly I believe we can't lose salvation. That said, what does free grace teach about those beliefs if anyone can show me or give me resources that would be greatly appreciated.

​@@ryanbagwell7714yes.. amen.. we "repent" from the thinking that "we can" save ourselves.. *we also repent from thinking that: our Holy and Kind Heavenly Father [YHVH, G-d Almighty] is "out to Get us" .. *the parable of the prodigal son perfectly illustrates the true heart that our "always loving" Abba has for us.. he rushes to honor and comfort us when we realize all of His goodness towards us

Doesn't the Bible say that overcomers are all those that believe on Christ? What does an overcomer look like? Someone who trusts Christ. I believe the whole church will reign with Christ because the church is His Bride. He's not going to marry a Bride with parts missing!

its funny so many try point to the early church fathers dont they see how the devil attacks the faith now what better time for him to put false doctrines ab teachings then when the church was being established the billions of catholics an orthodox who are dead alive an still to cone think they are the few who will find the straight an narrow way just going by numbers there followers of those doctrines an traditions dont sound like the few who will find the true way to christ

Interesting that you defend your discipleship position with an unorthodox view of the prodigal Son. According to church fathers, he represented all of the sinners of the world. See below According to the holy fathers,[1] the younger son could also be an image of all fallen mankind and of every sinner. The younger son’s inheritance is God’s gifts, with which every person is endowed, especially Christians. The most supreme gifts of God are the mind and heart, and especially the grace of the Holy Spirit given to every Christian. The son’s demand that the father give him his inheritance to use according his own will is man’s attempt to cast off his submission to God, and follow his own thoughts and desires. The father ceding the inheritance is a portrayal of the self-governance with which God honored man for the use of His gifts. The far country is a sinful life, distancing and alienating us from God. The squandering of the inheritance is the exhaustion of the powers of our mind, heart and body; in particular the outrage against the Holy Spirit and its expulsion from ourselves through our sinful deeds. The younger son’s poverty is the soul’s emptiness, which comes about from a sinful life. The permanent inhabitants of the far country are the princes of the darkness this age, the fallen spirits, permanently fallen and alienated from God. The sinner submits to their influence. The herd of unclean animals [swine] is the sinful thoughts and feelings that roam in soul of the sinners, grazing on its pastures. They are the inevitable consequence of sinful acts. In vain does a man think to silence these thoughts and feelings by fulfilling them-they are most impossible to satisfy! Man can carry out these passionate thoughts and dreams, but that does not destroy them-it only rouses them to redouble their strength. Man is created for heaven; only true goodness can be his satisfying, life-giving food. nope.. all by G-d [YHVH] Almighty's free grace, all thru faith, all thru faith in Jesus Christ alone.. *the prodigal son thinks "HE can make himself" happy thru selfish epicurean living [*and friendship with this unbelieving fallen world].. *the older son thinks that: he "deserves" honor and Everlasting [favor] Life from [selfishly] keeping the [law/torah] commandments.. *only the prodigal son appears to have come to the true realization that it is "Only the Father's kindness" that bestows the "gift" of Everlasting [favor] Life, filled with real joy and thankfulness

Most of the church fathers were heretics, and the ones we were WARNED of in the epistle of Jude GES teaches that one must be a son of God (aka born again) to be a disciple of Christ. There’s a verse of the KJV that says “the husbandman that laboreth must be first partaker of the fruits” This lines up with the prodigal Son. Two SONS. Not some unsaved outsider
