Worst part is it also feels horrible. Like Ahnald showed, his Unmasked Kylo is almost 6 stars, but the ship is 4 stars barely halfway to 5. It just feels super awkward because you get to farm the characters usually before you get to farm the ships, AND ships give less drops, so you end up with maxes characters but have to wait so much longer for ships even though it feels like you should be done already.

@@TTVDeadliest Oh man don't remind me.... was happy to gear the Droids, but I think Droideka on his own needed 5-6 full stun guns. Not fun. We need a shortlist of gear that HAS to be eased up on. Mk5 stun guns are the big ones, cause unlike a lot of the other bottle neck gear, they aren't even in the guild store. They could add some high demand gear to the HAAT raid. The only real reward there is GK and the currency, nearly all the gear is bad.

Simple solution to having every possible "random" option in the shops at once while reducing scrolling: just have sub-categories in shops. Since the different shops are across the top, have a sub-menu down the left side that is split into categories like Hero Shards, Ship Shards, Gear, Other (ability mats, credits, ship credits, etc.). If that isn't enough, have Hero Shards split LS/DS. I mean, the Shipments/Weekly Shipments tabs could already use a treatment like that.

Admiral, I totally agree with you point on credits they are really hard to keep especially if your trying to level up characters so you can get better characters. Also, I hate when mods makes you remove your level 15 mods for some one level mod which is actually worse for your character

After getting 5 Star Padme, 7*palp, 7*thrawn, 7*RTD2 + BB8 and some other basic legendries I challenged myself to get a GL so I've been working on SLKR for the last 2ish months and its amazing how i went from only having 5 star unmasked and a 3 star kylo and captain plasma and now I've got 6 7 star First order characters and already have a relic 4 unmasked and a gear 12 kylo and I'm loving the change to the character shards, i remember when i started working on phoenix last year and my goodness i remember it taking forever to get Hera and Ezra, and they were cantina shards, i cant even imagine what getting General Husk would have been like last year, my KR command shuttle is still an issue but I'm close to getting it so the finalizer will hopefully be in my grasp soon. (I'm F2P btw)

This is awesome! One problem though is that you need diversity in your squads to get more rewards. For example, I did my BH squad, then padme, and it slowly started to get faster because of the rewards I get from winning with those teams. I am working on revan right now, and I am really picking up speed because I have a full padme/jedi squad, g12 jkr, g11 Dr, full relic BH squad, r6 vader, and R4 cls/gg, meaning I have a sith, empire, jedi, galactic Republic, old republic, rebel, and bounty hunter squad (you need a few more characters than gg for decent sep Droids) to get materials from all of the different modes, but if you only have one or two factions, it takes FOREVER to gear them all up. If you get a relic vader and palp and some decent empire allies, you have a starter gl counter and it helps get the relic materials and gear from the empire/Droid and sith/FO squad, and then you work on your FO for slkr to get nice rewards from raids and to have an awesome character. That is a ton of work though, and it is difficult to wait for those two events to show up. I would suggest getting shards for the characters first, then working on padme or cls/Chewbacca to get a nice scoundrel team for mod materials and an amazing tho expensive character, or get a good, well rounded character with an amazing leader ability and cheap but versatile jedi allies and a separatist squad, and then gearing up the first order characters. That gives you a legendary character to hold your hand until you get slkr since it's easier to beat a FO squad than a padme/cls squad

My problem in arena is that i have no chance to even get past #600 not to mention top 100 or higher. It would be great if the arena shard wasnt set in stone and it would be oriented at galactic power oder power of ones ten strong characters or something like that. Right now you basically have chase people you will just not catch without whaling hard or playing for an eternity.

Biggest hurdle for be is hard nodes. No crystals to refresh the node and sometimes you don't get any shard drops. You're looking at 1-4 shards per day. Good luck getting that 7 star KOTOR team.

Fixing the ramping damage on Crancor is top of my list... (after Mod Management I guess). But failing that, putting a screen after you complete a run with your damage, Damage %, and the option to Keep, Retreat, or Retry.

pro tip for beginners: vaders TIE X1 und biggs xwing are a great combo in the beginning. That brought me into top 50 fleet early on earning 50 crystals each day. I used ahnaldt101's first(?) guide with phoenix to get started 2y ago. While phoenix is only good at the beginning, I am still using their ships in my rebel fleet. Got em to G11 only for fleet. I am free2play and my rebel fleet manages to score in top ten, mostly in top 5 and also 1st place in fleet arena vs 500k+ negotiator fleets. I saw a near maxed out FO fleet in top 20 for a while. It never felt as a real match to rebels with falcon even with their 200k GP advantage over my fleet. Rebels imo are the free2play way to go unless your clan can provide a solid income for negotiator or malevolence. I am not totally convinced that the FO Finalizer will get the job done in arena.

I was just thinking about this the other day since I finally unlocked my Finalizer. They need to put raddus and finalizer in the journey guide, but keep the periodic blueprint farming events on the events table. That way you can see the event and even unlock it if you meet the requirements, while still keeping the slow burn of the blueprint farming the way they want it. Seems like an easy enough adjustment.

Thank you for emphasizing on gear economy, shard ship rates & gear economy this is a wall I’ve ran into when wanting to go for gas I can’t express how aggravating it is farming anakin’s ship as well as if I wanted to go for finalizer.. that’s now hounds tooth, cads ship, tie silencer, kylo og’s ship it’s just so much agg 😩 they should definitely change the ship rates to x2 and give us a new gear challenge that rewards Mk5 stun gun prototypes, 1 already rewards the carbanti’s needed to craft a full stun gun so new gear challenge that rewards prototypes shouldn’t hurt 🤷🏻‍♂️ multiple characters need it for various gear levels 🥲

Imagine if they did a vote for example Scoundrels and they did a vote of Jabba, Hando or Maul from Solo. I agree with everything stated in this video, but what I would like to see is changing the mod rarities. As you stated previously, once you get access to 5 dot mods, all the 1-4 dot mods are useless because you can't slice them up. Then, have a good tutorial to slice mods to make new and veteran players more comfortable with mods and understand them. Removing 1-4 Dot Mods: So, I say we get rid of the 1-4 dot mod rarities and just keep the 5 dot mods. I think the best way to do this would be to make the current 5 dot rarity a 1 dot rarity. These mods should keep all the upgrade, stat, and slicing capabilities as the current 5 dot mods. This would then make the current 6 dot mods 2 dots, eventually leading to 4 dot mods in the long future where every secondary stat can be upgraded to level 5 through slicing. I think this would help a ton because then new players can invest in mods and not worry about wasting resources until they get 5 dot mods. Mod Tutorial: CG can also give preset mods as examples, so all new players get the same mod tutorial with slicing. For example, a new player gets a grey mod, and the game makes them level it up and reveal all the secondaries. Then a prompt shows up saying this mods has a 5 speed secondary, let's get slicing materials to slice it up. Then that programmed mod rolls speed and the game tells them that slicing mods can give more power to characters based on the primary and secondary stats.

I’m at 1.2 mil gp and I am always out of credits. Aprox 10 toons need to be starred up, never have money for mods, and most of my toons aren’t even 85. I really agree that Mods and Ships need some more love. I am not looking forward to farming ships for my Malevolence or SEE and I havent even farmed any ships for a while. My ship area is fairly stagnant the only thing that changes is people staring Negotiator and Malevolence

I came back to the game 3 months ago with the double shard drop. I had left 3 years prior,, after HSTR was released. The character farming is much easier even though it's mostly hard and Cantina nodes. Ships is a pain to farm still. For example my boss and jango are 39/100 and 47/100 respectively but my hounds tooth is only 6/85. Credits and gear are still a crunch for mods and character upgrades. 17k sim tickets aren't a problem. Some more shipment variety would be appreciated. PS Thanks for the videos anhaldt, my youtube subscription never dropped despite not having the game on my phone.

the gear crunch could be made more tolerable by just doubling the cap on energy from 144 to 288. even going to 216 (144 + 72) would help the grind. it would also be nice if they went back to hard nodes having 8 chances versus 5. they did this for a holiday season or something. double ship blueprints drops would be great.
