Been on a new f2p account for about a month, mostly just getting on and doing dailies. About to hit level 60 and close to being able to do Thrawn and Emperor as soon as I get 5* Crex

My f2p account is turning 3 years old and I'm about to complete my final GL. Leviathan would be the last real unlock left. By the time I got that the rest of the unlocks would be finished so probably add another 7 months on. Got the rey and slkr bundles so I'd add on another 8 months for farming both of them. Gear acceleration wasn't a thing until like a year and a half into my account so probably subtract 4 months or so, but with kyros not accelerated maybe that wouldn't factor into the equation. Would guess between 4-4.5 years to get all of this fully f2p at max efficiency

Hey Ahnald. Not sure if you’ll ever even see this, but I started early 2024. My buddy who was played the game since release has had me revolving my gameplay around your farming guide from 2023. I just wanted to say as someone who bought the hyperdrive bundle, this guide is genuinely so helpful. My main team at the moment isn’t bounty hunters since i made them the strongest for my fleet in order to farm crystals from fleet arena. It’s going so well.

I think a series of these would be really cool for each galactic legend. I have a few accounts, and on one of them, I made the bold move of going for Lord Vader first so it's about hyper farming the Geonosians and Ewoks first to nab Padmé and 3P0, but also building up the Jedi alongside to build a decent Galactic Republic team with Padmé and then the 501st on the side. It's actually been one of the more fun grinds I've done

Those gear recommendations are great Ahnald! Since the changes in the level up process have taken place I would like to add a few thoughts. There are basicly no sideprojects atm if you want to be efficient - I'm lvl 58 on day 5 completely f2p - you have absolutely no credit/gear/ability material to strengthen anything else but the phoenix squad that you get for free including Rex. Save your war credits for ships - don't buy anything before 60 from the gw shop you will need them for ships. Skip the geos - at lvl 78 I highly doubt you can get geo ships to 5 star since leveling is so quick - you get several 4 star ships for free - i would recommend upgrading those, and adding dark side ships that are included in the shops and will be needed later in your chimera or executor fleet. Executor should be the very first big project for everyone, period, no questions. Your first 6 GaC teams should be: Savage opress solo, Dart Vader solo, Phoenix squad, Imp troopers, Zorii, Bounty hunters. I agree with the Leia, Jabba, Master Luke triangle - the order should be Jabba->Luke->Leia. If you buy one lightspeed bundle as a new player I hear they are bringing first order LSB back for a short time in july - I recommend that. Thank you for all your help mate!

The only minor thing I want to change here is the Bounty Hunter lineup for Chewbacca/Executor The best lineup is Bossk, Greef, Mando, Boba Fett, and Dengar Bossk, Boba Fett, and Dengar are all needed for Executor. Greef and Mando are needed for the BAM event, which is also needed for Executor. Dengar’s entire kit was made specifically to make the Chewbacca event easier by preventing them from gaining stealth. And the team is also just a genuinely strong Bounty Hunter team you can use early on. That is extremely tough, with a relatively fast contract, 2 ways to ignore taunt, cleanses, instakills, etc. As well as the core 3 for most endgame Bounty Hunter lineups (Greef, Bossk, and Mando) that are almost always used. Yes you could farm IG-88 and Cad Bane to get a head start on Executor, but all that means is that you’ll have to farm Greef and Mando later on anyways for BAM, and therefore Razor Crest. So you’ll just have a worse Bounty Hunter team in the meantime. So instead why not simply cut out the middle man and farm up the actually useful characters, and then farm up IG-88 and Cad Bane as leftovers. This is the most efficient and effective team IMO especially for new players. As all they have to do is farm Fennec, and outside of Zam’s omicron, they basically have the best Bounty Hunter team until Jabba.

@@SnoopyJohn you just need dark side ships for zetas. Which can easily be done with Empire and First Order. You do not need to specifically get those 2 bounty hunter ships up and running. Especially since the actual characters are so bad they are rarely used.

But those ship grinds jsut take so long, you almost need to start farming them asap. I actually suggested a geo ship cause it's character and ship are easily farmable and his geos are like 5th his list. I have 4 ships ready but need that 5th for a zeta, an I'm barely 3* wit igs ship. And sinxe MF and executor are pretty early on his list, you might be caught up chasing those ships later on

Still stay on those ships, but def add greef and Mando. Esp since there's only like 3 characters you need initially in that shard shop. Once I finish up poggle, I'm taking your strat. 😂 however I still do think geo soldier is a good 5th for darkside ships

I figured out the "Skywalker triangle" by looking at the requirements for all the GLs, but I didn't know about the Zeta ship farm! So, I'll be pivoting my ship farm to BHs and probably my GL farm to Jabba instead of Leia. LLTE!

I have a question - why wait for CLS to unlock Palpatine? Won't Phoenix be enough, seeing as you already have to have Phoenix for Thrawn? I'd redraw the line from CLS -> Palpatine to Phoenix -> Palpatine. I would also separate Fleet stuff more clearly (for a separate page as an example), because that will probably be the bottleneck for new and F2P players (it is for me, I am F2P level 70 on week 3, and the ship stuff is a mess, I can't even go through Stage 2 stuff at all, but Stage 1 + Hard I have done). Other than that - I decided to follow this guide as a new F2P player, and it's doing good work for me. Thank you!

Funny party is the f2p triangle feel into place for me but in a different rotation then suggested cause when I got back into swgoh back before season 2 on mandalorian I reliced bounty hunter 1st, jkr and his team second,then cls third, the Darth Revan and sith empire the started farm JML and executor out came jabba finished him the did Leia and profundity and a few light speed bundles a long the way lol

My dad and were playing this for a bit before he passed last year... i hit level 85 finally and played pretty sparing since. It really broke my heart cause i was like "phoenix squad phoenix squad" and the week after he passed they literally did an event for them finally 😞 its been hard to wanna keep into it idk what to grind for and such at this point and have no one to play. But this puts me in a weirdly good comfort space even though its not even, nostalgic for me ive only played like 3ish years maybe... idk what the point of this was lol. Hey Ahnald not sure if you're aware, but theres a bug with Boss Nass lead. Currently you don't need all Gungans in order to spawn the shield generator. Found out during this most recent TW when I faced a Gungan with Wampa in the fifth.

I feel like Leviathan needs to be earlier on. Having 3 GL ships has been essential to me winning in Grand Arena, and it’s worth shelling out the resources for Leviathan is much more important than your 5th or 6th GL.

Ive never really understood if team order makes any difference, in MSF when i played it used to, so is that the case and alsobin the guide is that shown from left to right or not because there are different orders from the guide and then in the gameplay so wasnt sure which one if any showed team order, also massive thanks been following the 2023 guide as i started a fresh account a month or so ago after never consistently playing and really enjoying it and glad this came out so I've not wasted any farming on teams less relevant

Yea JK Cal Kestis seems like a low gear farm at first. Now that I'm gearing my last charcter requirment (Saw), its just sooo many kyros in total. Enough to go from gear 12 to 13 on several other (older)characters. But its all good, I'm a jedi survivor

If you did Leia before Jabba on a new account wouldn't it help in GAC due to helping your Crex phoenix team, CLS, MM rebel making those teams good to use mid game for pvp before they stop seeing use in end game. I feel like in the time it takes to farm JKL reqs you could work on Leia as well. Her reqs would be helpful earlier in a accounts life, besides Jabba giving 6* mods

Agreed, if people are doing the triangle as video is suggesting, it makes no sense to have Leia 3rd. Leia is faster vs. both Jubba & Luke GL’s.

A lot of people do not want to spend months farming 1 thing. A lot of the systems in the game are there to force you to pay money. 3 years for 4 galactic legends. People will quit the game long before getting the first galactic legend if it takes a year to get one.
