In Philadelphia, the SEPTA has an announcement that would say "Caution, bus is turning", every time the driver moved the steering wheel on the bus. They did this because too many pedestrians would get in the way of turning buses. The announcement is only supposed to play on the outside on the bus, but it occasionally plays in the inside of the bus, defeating the purpose.

I’ve had this problem before!! Whenever I got on RTD (Denver) Buses before 2020, it usually says the name of every bus stop like normal. But when COVID hit, they weren’t accepting fares. So usually after each bus stop announcement the buses say “Please exit through the rear door unless the ramp is needed.” Today, when the vaccines were available and COVID was going down, they still play the “Please exit through the rear door unless the ramp is needed” message even when they were accepting fares. Nowadays, the buses still say after each next bus stop announcement, it always ends with the “Please exit through the rear door unless the ramp is needed” message, which REALLY DRIVES MY BRAIN INSANE!

On the DERIC+ thing that sets the dests holds 5 numbers and if the driver wants a 3 digit number he would have to put 2 zeros before the 3 digit number and then maybe the next stop announcement display got confused and had the 2 dots put in.

Well luckily the buses at cheltenham don't have those annoying announcements. The best announcements are on trains, and lifts! (UPDATE, the newer models of these buses do have announcements now, but are significantly less annoying than the london buses 6 years ago.)
