Ever since they made the changes to shields the game has been insufferable i have more hours on kapkan and legion this season that i have in the last 4 years because of blitz and monty. Blitz its easy to deal with in my opinion doesn't take much but monty is almost uncounterable if he has a op with him almost nothing can be done and if he is being used by a season vet you're done and if the the team is communicating there is nothing to do against him. Bro went from being one of the most uselss operators to the most oppresive operator sinc blackbeards release.

My review of this Evan Braddock episode: the clips remained consistent to the title, something worth noting. As well as this, all the clips were of quality gameplay, though a major grip I have is the lack of humorous clips, the type of clips that you have gut hurting from laughter. In particular, the side cast were all entertaining and, as they say, locked, and in particular I was impressed with prostate and legends performance and impact on this video. However, I think the outro clip was be try mediocre, and doesn’t rival the best of the best. Overall, a solid video from the Braddock catalogue, but nothing out of the ordinary, though with good gameplay from the shield characters. I’m giving this 7 Braddocks out of 10

The kill at 2:18 only happens when clash is zapping a shield I believe that is ADS. I remember Varisty getting a submission for one of his hacker videos. Where the person thought they were cheating for that exact same reason.

my friend and i have been saying this ever since the changes. whenever we play a cheater we will run monty blitz and somehow that evens out the chances. mind this at one point i was top 5k champ but i dont have time to play anymore and am relatively trash. we view shields as a forbidden cheat and avoid them as much as possible because it just doesnt seem fair. I really hope they nerf them, and ideally change them to how they were before. i never make comments like this but it just seems like a perfect time to make it

imo the real issue with shields is that facing them with the wrong operators can genuinely feel like a checkmate. If you've picked trap operators, or impacts/c4, or have other specific counters (e.g., warden for blitz), playing against a shield can be pretty trivial as long as you approach the gunfight correctly. However, being in a 1v1 against monty for example, when you have nothing to deal with him, is one of those times where the round is effectively over before it ends. The fact that they ARE counter-able, but that it requires almost predictive team composition from the defending team, is what feels unfair to me.

@ yeah the main problems with shields is that with the buff they all play their roles + have high fragging capabilities. Which makes them unbalanced, especially when attackers can switch operators in drone phase while defenders can't.

As someone that enjoys shield gameplay, comparing RS shields to most other FPS games... They're already pretty nerfed/balanced for siege playstyle. In cod, if the shields functioned like this game they'd literally be unplayable. People would whack the sheild and onetap your face.

L Shield rework or W Shield rework what do ya'll think? for me its a L rework the Shields are basicly unstoppable now if you know what to do but before the rework you were at least able to shoot the arm while the Shield was holding the pistol. now if you encounter a good Shield player who knows how to play Shields you literally cant beat them. and no i dont mean these Copper Shield players that only play Blitz hes awful can be countered in so many ways. Mute jammer, Warden ability, Oryx even Valk can C4 from below while having a Camera on Blitz. Montagne is the best Shield Operator in my opinion.
