The answer is very dependent on several variables. First off, the gorilla, is this gorilla like a normal gorilla or is this Koko? Another variable, does the gorilla have time to prepare? Where will the fight occur? Are they just random people? It would take much less people if the humans had Floyd Mayweather and Bo Jackson in his prime. My answer: Floyd mayweather and like 2 other average adults would fold Koko the gorilla like a goddamn omelet. 24 Craig’s from Quiznos vs a random gorilla from the wild is a fair fight. 30 white collar workers could take down a gorilla. 8 Floridians could take down a gorilla easy.

I think you are underestimating how much a metal baseball bat hurts to be hit with, the average person can 4121 lbs of force or Favg=18,436 N. (for reference the femur which is the hardest bone to break in the human body breaks in around 4000 N). If a single person lands one hit before being dismembered by the gorilla it would still only take about 15-20 people. At the end of the day, it is an animal, and when being hunted by 20 relatively coordinated people, I think the people have a good chance as long as they all get a hit in.

Id say 4 men can disorient the gorilla enough rotating locations, focusing on blind spots. The issue is the gorilla will charge them one at a time, almost guaranteed maiming them beyond fighting condition, which is when the three remaining men will be able to fixate on the skull of the gorilla and finish him off.

I'm thinking around 7-9. Two or three as the initial distraction as the others get in position. Then it's a bum rush to try to hit em from every angle possible, surround him so there's always at least one person able to hit em in the back of the head or something. You got to be quick with the ambush too, otherwise he's intimidating enough that people may bail if he shows signs it isn't working.

Real talk, at LEAST 20. Those bats are gonna feel like gorilla knuckles at best, and a silverback will straight up beat you to death with half of another person. So that's gonna be 3 or 4 down before the gorilla even feels pain from any of them. You'll also have to surround it and keep it from winding up his own swings. That should be enough to slowly wear it out while he focuses on either escaping or finishing the group. When it's tired, the last 8 or so can finish IT off. 10 would never be enough. 3 or 4 dead off rip, 2 terrified, and the last 4 ain't going to last long.

4 is a crazy low number. I dont think these people realize how big a gorilla is. You cant bash its kneecaps with how fucking massive and strong they are compared to ours.
