Packaging is a huge part of your customer experience. Just last night, I was driving by a restaurant and the outside of the restaurant, the signage, the overall look caught me eye. I immediately pulled over and then ate at the restaurant. I enjoyed the experience and will be returning with my friends and family. It then struck me how similar this is to using exceptional packaging. It stops the consumer as they are walking around in a store, gets them to try the product for the first time, and then the quality of the product will keep them coming back again and again. Certain people ignore this fact and that is good news for people like yourself who get it :) Thank you for watching!

Are most dispensaries using generic bags or printed bags?

I would say its split about 50 / 50 between printed bags and generic bags. If there are generic bags, they are usually branded with some kind of label. Either the label itself is custom and then additional batch labels are added or a single label is printed on-site with both the companies logo and the batch information. Not the best from a branding perspective, but its something people are doing. The last option we've seen is printing label stock with the companies logo on it, with blank space, and then they run that label stock (with their logo) in their on-site printers, which apply the batch information. Thomas, I tend to agree with you. Especially when the bag is used for a vape, which literally will immediately get thrown in the trash -- or worse, on the street. As an industry, we can do better. Where are you based?

Cannabis Packaging Show I manage a dispensary in northern Oregon. I am lucky enough to work for an owner that hates plastic. We package in glass and use zippered, locking nylon exit bags. There is a return program as we sterilize and re use our glass jars. We also refrain from carrying products heavy in plastic packaging where possible.
