Nice job, something people miss about Ringo is the way he pushed those "come on come on" bridge sections, just a papers width early which really compells the ear and injects such energy into the movement, Moon did it a lot too (think chorus of 'can't explain'), just rushing it in a bit then settling back as everything else catches up

Interesting - I always thought it sounded like John was a millisecond late on the ‘Come On’s - but maybe it only sounds that way because Ringo is early.

Until the Beatles, no one drummed like that before. No one.

I can see your point but this is a really bad song to put this statement on.

Did Ringo’s Premier piccolo snare drum have an internal muffler? I have heard before that he used a cigarette pack or harmonica case to dampen the sound.

Some of those fills are so cool! Pete Best will just mess up those fills if he played on this song!

Almost right: the 1st hit on the snare is a quiet/soft one. The immediately folowing 2nd hit is indeed a hard/loud one. And, you're using the wrong cymbals. He had Zildjian avedis cymbals. 15" hi-hat, 18" crash ride and a 20" light ride.
