you also have to remember a lot of that fanart is made by girls that are teenagers themselves

i didn't realize he was a child when i watched the movie years ago but looking at his character design now he definitely looks 17 and it makes sense thematically

When it comes to the age thing, it didn't help that Jack Frost is voiced by Chris Pine. So Jack Frost is a tall, lanky dude with the voice of a 40 year old. With all that you'd kinda see why people would think Jack Frost is somewhere in his 20s

I mean, the whole aging up thing up and having crushes on characters that were your age once and stuff like that at the end of the day it just confused my brain. I could say I had a crush on Ciel Phantomhive when I was 13 and now I’m 19 and it would drive me nuts trying to comprehend wether or not still liking him or not liking him is bad because I remember how excited I used to get over him as a kid. Jack is also a good example, The creator of Rise of the Guardians said Jack died at 18 but he’s now technically 300 years old they said.

I remember hearing some fan thing where it was Elsa, Hiccup, Jack and some other character and it was them being friends or something and someone tried making evil alternate versions of them The evil version of Jack frost was called "Jack Black"

I was thinking what a good power for the Easter Bunny and besides the obvious egg grenades or maybe a substitution jutsu with chocolate bunny's , is just being able to summon Jesus every 3 days to end fights

Fairly sure the only times I’ve ever seen thirsttrap fan art of Jack Frost (and it’s not been very often fortunately), it’s been very clearly an aged up version that looks like he’s in his twenties, which on the one hand, at least the artist(s) that made those have identified that there is a major issue with the character’s canonical age, but on the other hand, there’s still something…odd…about the fact that the original character is still a child*. Like, you wouldn’t take a photo of an underage teen and digitally age them up to make thirsttrap material, so why would it be okay to do the same with an animated character? It probably is less creepy to do it with a fictional character than a real person, but not by much. *the only exception to this I can think of is if the character aged up in the canonical material and you were thirsting after the adult version; eg Goku in DragonBall - it’d be okay to make thirsttrap fan art of adult Goku even though the character started the series as a child, but making the same for, say, Ash from Pokemon would be a bit messed up.
