SYNOPSIS:
Two friends attempt to repair their friendship after some misunderstanding between the two during a night of euphoria and heavy alcohol consumption, and the main character desperately bandages his own inner turmoil to the best of his ability at the same time.

So, this a tale of sacrificing one's true self to pay for familial expectations. It seems to be a topic you are quite passionate about. I have to say though feel little compassion for your protagonist because...unlike in Diffidence....i didn't get a glimpse of the self that was being stifled. I do get that part of the conversation here is to not project your hopes and expectations on your kids because it can blind them to who they need to be....but who does he need be?

this movie probably would have been a good movie except for all the super closeups. my god how can a person see a movie when all we see are those damn closeups. when i watch a movie i want to see the close proximity in the room or around the country. when all i see is my screen filled w/someones face then i lose the action around the room. thx
