This made me think this: How many men that you (and I) go to church with would show up to the hospital to back you up if it happened to you? Another question is, how do you foster the kind of community in a church where you are willing to likely end up in jail, for someone else’s kid?
@Yankeeprepper2 жыл бұрын
The church is "eating, drinking and getting married". None of the men I go to church with would pick up arms to defend their rights let alone mine. Just talking about it might offend someone.

@@Yankeeprepper usual we agree. I had this discussion earlier this summer in a whiskey tasting group that I have attended that is mostly “conservative Christian’s” and the sentiment among most was that they would do it for their own but not for someone else…..it was disheartening to say the least. There isn’t much holding anybody together anymore. At least not in a meaningful flesh and blood real life way. The excuse was that they have an obligation to their family first, and what if they go down defending you. They fail to realize that it’s easier to pick you off if you are all by yourself. Not much of a kingdom mindset, it’s all about the individual. There has to be a way to redevelop a group mentality amongst believers in the kingdom. Build some loyalty and honor back into the faith. Part of the problem is that if people don’t 100% love their church they just switch to another church or denomination, and we just get a large group of individuals that hardly do anything for anybody else and develop little to no loyalty or ties to anyone or anything (and I’m just talking about the church here). I don’t know how to deal with that, and most men in leadership fail to see the issues let alone start working on strategies to counteract this.

@@northlander1948 I believe the church age is over and we are going to live through a hard time. The church in America is UNTESTED, we are going to see a huge falling out when things get tough. I would go as far to say that the church in America loves their "blessings", their golden calf is their comfort. Please share some light news with me and tell me about this whisky tasting. What was favorite(s)? I don't drink regularly or even a lot when I do. But i sure like to share a drink in fellowship and enjoy depths and flavors of whisky.

@@Yankeeprepperounds good, on a lighter note once a month I get together with a group up in the Brainerd area that I knew when I went to a small baptist school for a few years. We reconnected over a business transaction and they invited me. We all pitch in a little bit and buy some nice whiskeys. Last weekend we tried 3 different scotch whiskeys: Benriach (3 cask matured), Aberlour (2 cask matured), and Cragganmore (I’m pretty sure it was single cask). Most of the group enjoyed the Aberlour the most, it was a nice balance between the natural flavors in the whiskey and the flavor that is added from being in casks for over a decade. It has a wonderful light spice and chocolate flavor. I heard through the grapevine my wife might be getting me a bottle for Christmas! It is a great group for real discussions and great tasting whiskies. In past months we have done bourbons, Japanese, and Rye etc…

@@Yankeeprepper Good morning Yankee. In the interest of at least partially satisfying your request (and over a cup of your own Colombian on my end): I attended several whiskey tastings during a bachelor party on the KY bourbon trail last year. I must say: many of the boutique distilleries’ products are not to my taste, as they had either an odd, overpowering corn taste, or were cask strength rocket fuel (~140 proof) that gave cause to worry about blistering of the throat haha. I do recall one I liked more that most, I believe at Three Boys Distillery (since renamed IIRC) which exhibited an oakey caramel character at a reasonable strength. That’s generally my preference: Oakley and with a muted sweetness. I hope this finds you well in a fallen world. Keep the faith; me and mine may not be as far away as you think.

Why were they trying to take the baby?
@BuggysTowJam2 жыл бұрын
From reading Yankees description the baby needed an operation. And the parents opposed to the hospital using vaccinated blood for the baby during the operation. Hence the govt stepped in, stole the baby and are going to give the vaccinated blood to the baby during the operation and threatened to assualt and lock the parents up if they don't go along with the kidnapping, assualt and govt intervention. Into a parent's God given rights.
