From one Chicago musician (happily living in Los Angeles) to another , you've got if down and in pocket. Pleasure's song Glide circa 1979 featuring bassist Nathaniel Phillips is one of the funkiest original bass lines ever and it is so underrated. Who knew such funk could be cultivated in Oregon where the band hailed from. Those who know of it know of it and those who don't are missing out. Funk on my brother , funk on!

Great cover! Question. During the descending octave bass line in the verse, is there an (intentional) dissonant note or passing note in the phrasing? I can't quite make it out but it sounds good.

Estás utilizando bastante compresor se nota un sonido demasiado comprimido para mi gusta a mí personalmente me gusta un slap más natural sin tener que pasar por compresor ya que la mayoría de compresores ensucian el sonido el bajo hay que tocar sin efectos lo más natural posible eso ya es cosa de un bajo y las buenas manos del músico, hablo de una buena técnica de slap limpia 100%
