I’m a plein air painter, but sometimes I find more joy in watching others paint. To see the process of others- you struggling with the wind, running after and recovering blown away paper towels, finding the color/value/shapes, and coming up with a good painting! Nice work.

Oh man. You both hit it out of the park - really nice job simplifying all that noise, with all that wind, and probably in record time.

Great job tolerating the winds! Both paintings turned out great! I love it when you and Ariah paint together because of the different interpretations you gus come up with of the same scene, and differences in your painting styles. Well done!

Way to roll with the punches! Ariah's magical blend of colour and texture--I could look at that for hours. Your sycamore tree changes turned out great. And your greens...gorgeous! Love watching you two paint together. Good vibes.

Give you guys huge credit for braving the wind! I paint this canyon pretty regularly and it often pretty gusty there. Always fun to see your process and what you come up with! Cheers! 😊

Second comment on KZbin in ten years is for here... the way you structure your pictures is unique. I copy them with watercolors, my body can't tolerate the solvent of oil, but I see your videos and I admire how you can simplify the beauty of things to the soul of these things, you reduce absolutely and make them light, bright, fantastic and I heard what you said. ...thanks for your videos...really

Uriah yours appears to be more finished. If it were mine I would let it set around for a while and be very careful about overworking it. Nice job guys. I did a painting in the mountains on a windy day and almost got blown off the mountain.

Thank you for addressing issues I've faced this week - wind and easels. Rocks in canvas bags is a great idea. A good suggestion is bungee cording the painting along the edges on those days. My French easel took a spill in the wind this week. Nothing hurt. Is there a preference between tripod easels and French easels in this kind of wind? Does it even matter?
@chamberlainpaintings8 ай бұрын
I've never had my easel blow over. It's an Anderson style easel. Definitely more stable than a french easel.
