Plenary round-up - Thur.28.March 2024

In the plenary sitting held on Thursday 28 March 2024, the Minister of State for General Duties Hon. Henry Musasizi laid before Parliament, the draft budget estimates of revenue and expenditure for the financial year 2024/2025.
The House received the alternative policy statements for the financial year 2024/2025, in line with rule 147 of the rules of procedure of Parliament.
Hon. Musasizi affirmed that the Ministry of Finance released funds required to pay salary arrears for casual labourers employed by Kampala Capital City Authority.
