I would not be so dismissive of the upwell / drone event -- if you look into it you will see that in the end it is just 'turn in items for loot box'. The boxes contain the new super MTU and tractor beam so depending on how much those are worth, and the rate at which they drop, it can be a gamble at lesser amounts spent or a solid investment at big spends. The shipcaster event was hugely profitable if you churned through tons of the boxes, I know.

yup, I just subbed two account for the 12 months with this sale from a stash of PLEX I had. Good deal. Now I have no more PLEX. XD

I made a good few T2 trig ships because the manipulators dropped. Given how the market develops the margin will be consumed soon enough if you never stockpiled the manipulators

they put this out literally the day after i decided to pay for 2yrs for each account... would've saved me about $150 to do it this way and left me with plex and skins
