I get it. Do whatever works for you. A month ago I had 2 guys who decided to have a full on fist fight in the back seat. They hit the plexiglass several times, I calmly sat there and called 911. and never took a punch. You might be in a tame city. I'm not. This works for me.

Perhaps putting split foam pipe insulation around the edges, might work well? It's fairly cheap, and it should better protect interior materials from the plexiglass edges, and form a better seal without potentially leaving a sticky tape residue.

My advice for the bottom is to use CLEAR SHOWER CURTAIN LINER...Every 99 cents store sells them and it works GREAT!

I did the same thing mine goes all the way to the floor and I had to run pool tubes to the back so that the customers get heat and ac,yours looks really good i am going to redo mine because I had to work with 2 pieces and had to use tape down the middle I look like crap but for now it works

Nice job! I did my self for my cab also, I attached it to the edge of de doors with aluminium "L" and rivets. I left two windows for AC with an AC filter and the second is small for payment

I cut a hole and ducted one of the vents through a 4 inch tube into the back. I keep the AC set to fresh air in.

Great idea how do you deal with passenger that needs more leg room. It seems that if you slide the seat forward it would fall apart. Or do you tell the passenger that you can't make legroom for them. Also if you don't have ac vents in the back I have a 2016 Chevy Cruze LT the passenger is going to be really hot, unless windows are open.

Life isn't perfect right now. The seats cant be moved. I set them as far forward as I can comfortably accept them before I installed it. This is the trade off. I haven't had a passenger complain about legroom, or temperature. They are welcome to use the windows. I don't drive in the rain. Other than that it's been fine. If this setup is not satisfactory for the passenger I am happy to cancel at no charge and they can wait for the next guy. (Usually about a half hour).

@@lenfarneth Hi, yeah in my case they need legroom I drive UZURV 360 dedicated to American Cancer Society patients and they need to be comfortable also we provide rides for people with disabilities and special needs this is totally different than Uber and pays way much better. For example I've earned minimum per ride $25.00 and I've earned in one ride $260.00 as well, these are not regular rides these are patients. I really like it but won't work for drivers like myself at least for now.

Life is about compromises. I get out and stretch my legs every few hours. If I need to lay down, I go home. If I need money though, this offers me the protection to get that done.

You are correct. All ventilation is windows down only. At some point I may run an air hose into the back, but I will have to find a way to make sure that no pressure will allow air to get pushed back up front somehow. Fortunately it hasn't started to get hot out. But I'm sure I will need to address that at some point.
