I discovered Plini on accident a few years ago and this dude has become the soundtrack of my life! As his music evolves with every new release, Plini is distinctly exploring new soundscapes, yet he is staying true to himself and his unique sound. Favorite tracks: 1. Ill tell you someday 2. Ko Ki 3. "Kind" 4. Every Piece Matters and the lead for Helix Nebula's "Sailing Stone" is ABSOLUTELY mind blowing...Id like to hear more from Plini in that genre actually, but whatever direction he chooses im along for the ride!

Selenium Forest by Plini is one of my favorite songs of all time. If you like this bright beautiful cadence, you can venture into a band that few people react to, and that's Scale the Summit. After your Polyphia reactions, I knew it was only a matter of time before people recommended Plini haha. I'd super highly recommend reacting to Intervals songs 'I'm Awake' and 'Libra' (ft. Plini!!). Like Plini, though, they lean more prog than math rock and, especially with 'Libra' you'd find way more instrumentally similar stuff under 'Swancore'. Not sure how familiar you are with Dance Gavin Dance, but basically that psudo-math-prog-RnB-esque sounding stuff (Will Swan is DGD lead-guitarist and basically put the sound on the map).

Cool reaction man. About a year back I got to meet this dude at one of his masterclasses, (I think it’s called a master class) at the JMC Music Academy in Brisbane. Dudes super talented and real humble, he can be a bit of a goof at times, well thats what I kinda picked up on. But when it came to music he’s definitely a master of his crafts. There’s a reason why Steve Vai praised the dude by saying he’s “the future of exceptional guitar playing” he was also labeled best Prog Guitarist of 2017. In your spear time man you should check out “Plini x Kendrick Lamar - Away” A few people don’t really like this one because he tried something different and fused PROG Rock with Rap. Personally I think it’s awesome, the creativity he has is just amazing.

About the panning mixing in this track: You should check out Blank Banshee or Holly Herndon if you want to hear some high-level interesting mixing. Blank Banshee is an electronic artist, but it's not dance music. It's heavily inspired by the vaporwave trend, but their compositions are a lot bigger than that pigeon hole. A great song is Frozen Flame. Holly Herndon is also an electronic musician, but more on the general experimental side of things. She's a great singer and a lot of her compositions seem to be experiments in voice. Her production is out of this world, though. Morning Sun is a fascinating listen.

There isn’t a bad Plini song out there, but selenium Forest is a great one to check out. It’s actually an older song of his, but still excellent. If you get the urge to check out similar type artists then David Maxim Micic(meecheech) is an excellent guitarist and all around musician.
