I love how the melody in 6:04 is emphasized throughout the whole EP trilogy. idk why but these parts (this one, the first part of the song Heart and towards the end of sweet nothings) give me a feeling of resolution and whenever I'm listening to the EPs in one go, these small bits make the EPs sound like a bunch of musical stories with interrelation.

Plini keep up the great work for years to come. I am a hobbyist drummer and love this fellow's playing and choosing his drum parts. Wow. Just masterful stuff. All of it.

djent!
@RyanJamesODonnell4 жыл бұрын
@@dreams7091 he might use elements of Djent, but can you really label him as just Djent. The bass features a lot in his melodies, but he rocks a 6 string, a lot of his songs play in 4/4, and even his Sunhead album (his darkest so far) is only in drop Db tuning. His Handmade Cities album is also, imo, way to bright to be classed as Djent. His influences include Periphery, but also the likes of Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Guthrie Govan.
