Perfect driving music. Especially in the summer, right before or during dusk with the windows down on an open road in a rural area, hand out the window feeling the air massage your skin and smile on your face, time stops in these moments.

Gotta say as a producer/composer myself that the reverb settings are just incredible. It's one of the things I always tend to focus on while listening to a track, where instruments are placed, how long their reverb tail is, how big the hall etc. Great work! Also your midi programming skills are on a very high level, you managed to make everything sound very realistic and organic-like! Guess I'm a fan now? Yeah!

There is a lot of young people out there, I myself fell in a period where I listened to a bit of the not so good core bands, although I had started listening to core bands starting my last year in middle school I started socializing with other people that listened to the same genre in high school and also started influencing other people which made me come back to the genre many times even after I thought I had enough... many times this type of not so good music is the gate to great music like this... I mean how are you gonna listen to music as good as this if you don't know any better? Let other people find their way and those that will just not have any of this type of good music let them be.... I mean what if this type of music became super popular and overplayed and artist kept repeating the same idea? then it wouldn't be so precious... I want these artists to succeed but for now I am happy if they are part of the "underground" Tosin Abasi himself used to be in a metalcore band..... not forgetting that there are some good metalcore bands specially the classic ones....

I've been listening to Plini since 2014. I don't even remember how I came across it. But I can without a doubt say that his music can be jammed to at all times and it will never get old. Plini's music has given me rushes of euphoria even with a sober mind. I will go to every show. Until the day he stops making music, which I pray never never comes. We all appreciate and love you Plini!

3:27 and onward is one of the best guitar solos I've ever heard... Amazing work!!
16:34 reference to the first song of the trilogy, Heart. I love how this man brings some song into others by mixing in a little riff of a song into another. And there's also the hook of The end of Everything appears everywhere in the trilogy as a Plini watermark. Masterpiece!
@rinaberman76865 жыл бұрын
That lick was originally in Selenium Forest, I think. I also noticed that some of the melodies in "Tarred and Feathered" seemed like a precursor to Inhale from Handmade Cities.
@rinaberman76865 жыл бұрын
His trademark lick, I mean.
@prc72324 жыл бұрын
also you can hear the main theme of sweet nothings on paper moon (minute 5:50) and right after that the keyboards plays heart riff's, then at 6:17 reference to away and then the ''Plini lick'' on the end of the song miming selenium forest solo (if you play guitar you can try to play selenium forest solo instead of paper moon solo and it will fit nice ahah). he's just a genius composer
@prc72324 жыл бұрын
and also, on paper moon, when the song ends you can hear that same ''metronome thing'' that you hear in the very beginning of heart, it's like it end where it started

But then I really sat down, and I listened to the damn thing, and now I start to cry whenever I hear it. Jesus, it's that good. Plini, I don't know if you'll ever read this comment, but I came along your music at a very pivotal and uncertain point in my life that is still playing out at the time of this writing, and your music stands in my heart not only as an anchor keeping me buoyant and safe in this time but also as a reminder of it, of the change I'm going through and how amazing that change is. I just found this. Now I shall spread the gospel. Great job, it has a symphonic flow with heartfelt bass, thumping and rattling my senses into a sonic smile of music excellence.

You are my friend's absolute favourite composer and I can see why! Good work and keep it up, would love to see you live or maybe be part of what you're doing, this is just magic.

This album, first thing every morning, for weeks now. It's just the bee's knees. Goes so good with coffee and a cig and the sunrise. Thank you Plini.
