PLO Lumumba, thanks a zillion for your powerful speech and preach against corruption in African countries. Please I want to make this candid request, can you establish a foundation if there is no any, in various countries of Africa where African youths will be trained on your ideology. And also be trained on corruption free sustainable leadership. Thank you sir.

True prof. PLO, I'm a Bissau Guinean, land of Amilcar Cabral, whom you always cited in your speech when citing some of the greater leaders Africa have had. Actually, I'm in Brasil for studies, for sure, if I have heard you or watched your inspiring videos on youtube, probably I would have been stayed home for some years, helping transform my community, my country, and consequently Africa. Keep it up, you are inspiring many of us, by making us feel that it's possible to make down there, despite the failure of our leaders... But, I am looking forward to finishing this as soon as possible and go back home, take a stand, speak to young African, (my colleagues), and to tell them ''we are the change that we are seeking'' by encouraging them to think, and to innovate... Over the past year (2017) and this, you've made a positive impact on my way thinking about and seeing Africa.

Everytime I have occasion to learn from this man, I absolutely relish the moment. This man epitomizes black excellence and intellect. However, I hear his stance on the aspect of pan africanism and concomitantly african independence, but I'm still at pains to digest his preferred ideology in the spectrum of ideologies that would be proper to achieve the outcome he desires. My conception of the issue is that the institution of democracy is a direct canduit that facilitates external interference with the affairs of africa. If africa is to realize her emancipation from the influence of extraneous forces, the brand of democracy practiced cannot be unbridled, but must be permitted in proportion to the exigencies of a particular community. It is not the desire of a nation to restrict the free will of its citizenry, but it is the aim of nation to insulate itself from vulnerability to elements that aren't only averse to the objectives set by it but also make efforts to stifle any progress. One must remain vigilant and alive to the implications of african emancipation to those that benefit from her bondage and their passion to retain and perpetuate the status quo. If africa is to commence programs to mount a strong resistance to external control and influence, the powers that be would employ their pre-established mechanisms to counter and neutralize such efforts. And, absent proper conscientisation of society regarding the pangs and toils that will,as matter of certainty, flow from such acts, society may be misinformed by enemy outlets specializing in propaganda to conceive of such state of affairs as caused by their leader in pursuant of an unjust end. Thus, Prof as a learned pillar of our continent, must form part of a group of individuals trusted and selected to deliberate over the direction to be taken by african and the methods to employ to undertake that undeniably mountainous task.

Thank you so much @David. Mb. I exactly share the same opinion with you about this man. He absolutely lost my esteem the day he started to praise the Rwandan dictator the African Hitler. I always wonder how an African of his caliber can reach his stage without coming across at least to one of the endless reports about his involvement into genocide, atrocities in Congo and Rwanda, human right abuse, silenced the press, torture, money laundering, cannot respect his own country's constitution and so on. I am afraid Prof Lumumba must be a very naive and superficial individual.

David. Mb. His role is to create awareness and igniting the Africanism in people. Focus on that and not the little mistakes he might have made. His ideas if followed will pave the way to an eloquent Africa. He has to also talk about the little progress that has been made. Even as little as moving from a genocide into a dictatorship. And forget not that countries like China and olden days Libya, Northern Korea and many others, were able to reduced the impact of those who want to remain super economies by dictators in these countries. If Gadaffi was a dictator, Libya was the only debt free country in Africa.

Stephanos H At least PLO Lumumba is creating awareness across Africa. He is stimulating our imagination whether you agree with him or not and that is a good thing. He is an academician and not an elected leader, but whatever he says resonates with the vast majority of African people. The worst scenario is to even remotely treat PLO as some sort of Messiah. No. He is not campaigning for any political office and has never attempted to do so even in Kenya. Now, what contribution or suggestions are you making to fix the ills of Africa? Or should we just throw our arms in the air and keep on waiting for the second coming of the white Jesus? Or should we engage PLO and each other in a civilized discourse about charting the course on the future of the African continent?

The truth is Uhuru Kenyatta and co stole the 8th August elections and they were busted. There is no where you can find ethnicity like in Rwanda, but they are just hypocrites and liar and you are one of people that can are easily to be lied. Dig up and find out the hunger which is in Rwanda and people are totally forbidden to talk about it because of politics. Kagame is suceeding to convince people like you and others.

Constantim Shimwa , u are better of than many countries in Africa friend. Many Rwandans and people testify of the big gains there. My friend went for honey moon there and saw how ur nation overtook uganda in short time. Find better ways to solve the small problems instead of falling for outside propaganda. Believe me u are better off than before or during 1994, unless u are not aware of your history. But if we outsiders are misinformed, it is by your very citizens. So take your effort to by proof show the other untold story that is worse than the claimed gains of Rwanda and Kagame.

Thanks for your reply. from 1994 until now, that a long time. what was achieved in terms of buildings and hygien would have been achieved by someone else, so there is no miracle there. as outsiders, you look at what see by your eyes but the country is suffuring from hunger in all angles. don't take the achievements by looking at those blindly attractive cities coz the reflect nothing from citizens' lives.

PLO Lumumba is eloquent and I give him credit for that, but the fellow is at times ill-informed or he deliberately choose to be ignorant. He praises war criminals and despots whereas at home in Kenya he defends election thieves who are not just thieves but bad leaders as well. These are leaders who order Police to unleash mayhem on supposedly peaceful demonstrations rather than guarding them to maintain that they're peaceful. Such a fellow I don't take serious anymore.
