This arc was so cute! It was basically a therapy session for Tatsumaki, who really wants human intimacy, wants to be able to trust people and be appretiated for her effort. It really is a warm feel good story. I even root a bit that she manages to win Saitama's affection, which of course wont happen. Also I am still way in the Genos x Tatsumaki Shipping department, after their incredible teamwork in the monsterassociation war. That was cute end epic as shit!

Tatsumaki's vision is one that's often experienced by someone that has lost a loved one. They see them, and chase after them, but can never catch them. The lost figure turning around symbolizes knowledge, or a lesson, from the lost loved one. Blast isnt dead.. but the symbolism remains.

Oh I get it! 11:33 Satima: We need to go back to the original location that I took us too. Tatsumaki: remembering how they first got there figured that he would majestically carry her in his arms again like he did the first time, so she decided to drop down next to him waiting for him to carry them there. This may have been an unconscious move on her part hoping to have that kind of experience again, but most likely it was a conscious move that she decided to make with that reason in mind. Satima: is just confused about it and doesn't know what to make of the situation nor does he understand why she got so close. He actually might understand, but either way he awkwardly turns away from her rejecting that idea and deciding not to carry her there like he did the first time probably because he actually has no idea about the direction he needs to go. Tatsumaki: is furious thinking he's an idiot and upset at him for turning down her hopes and dreams of another majestic take off because he turns away with seemingly no intentions of carrying or taking them both there, and she retaliates immediately explaining a part of her frustration to him.

I love this fight. For detractors, let me explain why. First, the setup is great. By this point in the story, we know exactly why Blizzard resents and is terrified of her sister, and we also know why Tats is the way she is. Not saying Tats is right, but being betrayed by basically everyone to be turned into a guinea pig is going to warp your priorities. Backstory that keeps her antagonistic, while never coming across as straight up villainous. Second is the inciting incident. This isn't really a tantrum as some people dismiss it as. The Fubuki Group almost got Blizzard worse than killed. Tats isn't going to ever let what happened to her as a child happen to her little sister. She isn't just pissed. This is the sum total of all of her worst fears and validation of the darkest aspects of her worldview crashing together into a catastrophic event. Fueled by Tats's very real isolation. We understand why Tats is completely apoplectic. So completely lost in self-righteous rage and fear that she's basically gone. Her very self being lost in the torrent of her own power and ego. And then the Bald Man steps in. And want to know what happens? Saitama forces Tats to deal. With a whole lot. Sure it starts simple. With only Tats being pissed about Saitama grabbing her arm. She obviously tries to swat him to get back to what she thinks is the important situation. But it doesn't work. Which is odd. She then shows a modicum of actual respect and tries to reason with him. Doesn't work either. Saitama isn't going to be lectured by her. She, of course, gets mad because she is in no way equipped to understand Saitama's laconic attitude, much less his 'acquaintance' remark. So, she assumes he's lying. Bluffing. She the damned Tornado of Terror after all! And if he's going to lie to her, well she is going to verify some stuff! So she tests him. Saitama, kind of used to people testing him and, understanding just how powerful she is, takes her somewhere she bring it on! Somewhere she can actually let loose! Where she can be set free! That's right, Saitama straight out frees her! For the first time in her life, Tatsumaki can test the full extent of her power! Tats can finally let loose all her rage and hurt and pain and smite a shiny chrome dome with all of that crap! No guilt. Just pure catharsis for her. You can tell by how often she's smiling! And she is so damned powerful in this fight. Strong enough that midway through the fight, Saitama actually starts REMEMBERING her name! It took him weeks to member Bang's name! Tats carved it through his thick skull in just minutes! I love this manga. So much of One Punch Man is learning to get over yourself. To find purpose by means other than raw power or outside validation. And this is another great moment of this. Does this mean Tats has realized just how strong Saitama is? Almost assuredly not. She has a long way to go in healing. But this fight had to happen. Fubuki had to realize her absurd plan had no merit. That she needed to grow on her own. Tats needed to understand that there is value in other people. As for Saitama... well Saitama is Saitama. He probably won't ever realize he grew as well. Not even when he argues with Tats and calls her by name in those arguments. And because of that, because Saitama added to his growing list of acquaintances... well I sure wouldn't want to have any surgical scars on my head right about now...

There is also a massive difference between simply sending someone into space and sending someone to the moon. The moon is significantly further away.
