bought my first Kage. last fall 8ft. put it on my kubota. articulated wheel loader operates like a dream. It takes me half the time to plow my commercial lots than with a truck. Ordered a 10ft. One for this season. Anyone that plows condos needs these being able to back drag the driveways and then use the box to relocate the snow makes happy customers.

Only way to go if you are serious about efficiency! Love em!!! Best snow equipment purchase I have ever made thus far. You will make your $$$$$ back over & over with this plow system! GUARANTEED! Great company that 1,000,000% backs their products!!! I have first-hand knowledge of this, they are literally located 5 miles from my residence. The KAGE is NO JOKE People & like Stanley said--"They are not paying me to say this" !

I love my kage... Was iffy at first but having the option makes it so much better. Plow the main roads of a condominium with just the blade.. Then scoop and make piles with the kage on.. So easy on and off ten seconds.. Its light. The leveling blade. Makes plowing in a skid steer almost fun lol

These systems are AWESOME!! We run two of them on our skids. It is a great company and great customer service as well!!

I chase the the curb line with the bucket. Its hard on the tires, but when its fresh snow and icy it's not bad once you have the technique down. I would love to have one and it's a great design but so expensive. And catch the corner of a hidden curb going in high speed and they are never the same. They perform the best for townhouses and apartments as a single piece of equipment on site. For larger commercial lots a pickup with a plow and a skidsteer with a 10' bucket is a solid combo on the cheap. IMO

I would buy one if I had a skid steer and if I did snow plowing. It hardly snows here in VA

As far as trip edges go, on a full trip steel edge you could weld little 45 degree triangle tabs about an inch big perpendicular to the edge on both ends and two in the middle which would ride up over the cracks and obstacles in the pavement. It might affect snow ejection to a small degree but I would bet nothing significant. I plan to build wings for my plow which have to have the edges angled up like this anyway to prevent damage.
@waults8 жыл бұрын
We just welded a couple hooks on top of the Snow Wolf plows we already owned and built a similar detachable "Kage" style device. Works just like the video here, was less than $1000 in materials and maybe 10 hours of fab time.

Good video. But I would like You compared this cage vs artic plow! Not that 20 years old plow. Prices, quality, and timing on each plow, and also switch skid steer to make sure all check point be taking care! By the way Hi from Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Stanley you should check out the HLA snow wing! I use them on Bobcat 873's and Massey Fergusson 4608's! But probly the most efficient is an Ebling back blade.
@jacobmcmillan8166 жыл бұрын
You can buy a HLA plow and it has hydraulic wings and has angling and it’s way faster than taking off the cage making it into a straight blade
@Dirtmonkey6 жыл бұрын
Ive never heard of that brand.

Jason Lajaro how did you like it!
@oxconcreteremovalfirewoodm38634 жыл бұрын
@@dantekeskin1512 I love it! I was able to plow 10 condo sites last year in 1 day. 3 large ones, 3 mid size ones and 4 small apartment building parking lots. Took me 13-16 hours to plow all of them depending on how much snow fell. I would highly recommend buying one. You can do a better job the first pass just with moving your push from side to side. And switch to the straight blade makes it fast for car stalls driveways and if you make a wind row on a sidewalk its easy to plow it back off. So you can give your customers a Premium plow.

I looked at these and couldn't justify the cost...finally got a great deal on a 8 foot Protech with the back drag bar...the Kage is awesome though... Again I say that I want a truck mount system...

The guy running the S250 with the Kage plow could have even done better if he would have kept all 4 tires on the ground for more traction.
@Dirtmonkey8 жыл бұрын
+Ian bob Yep- agreed
@gman49376 жыл бұрын
You're probably correct in this instance. Plowing with a Bobcat is always a balance/tradeoff between traction and down pressure on the blade.

Actually- No- I'm not getting anything from this-at all. But the Kage is more efficient-its just the truth.
@davidg91677 жыл бұрын
It's much better than a bucket without a doubt but how much better is it than another pusher? Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of Kage but comparing it to another pusher would seem to be kind of obvious.
