I grew up doing snow removal and I have done this with significance in my 20's but in the mountains adds that spice to life that most miss. Now you need to show more, the break downs, when you need chains, what and why you do, this will grow your channel.

Got give ya massive props for having the bravery within your heart and trust within yourself to do this job, from this aspect it seems like quite a bit of snow. Also seems like a extra 4 inches or small wings for your plow would do perfect on these rodes to grab what looks like a bit of left over snow on each side when making a pass in certain places
@hovojefe2 жыл бұрын
If you're not driving fast enough, and the banks are tall enough, then you can't "flip your banks"/roll the snow over the tops of the banks and so some will fall back down. This tractor would probably need to be going full speed to flip his banks in some places. That's why I prefer a truck personally🤟

Props to the driver of that truck. Those roads are barely wider than the plow blade. One wrong snag with that blade could jerk that truck around and send it careening down the mountain. Looks like the snow is coming down at the rate of about 1-2 inches per hour. Non stop that could dump 2-3 feet of snow in a 24hr period.

Those narrow roads with a cliff to one side give me the willies. I live on the prairies and there's generally always enough room to have a proper 2 lane road and the places deep in the bush with the little goat trail roads at least have the decency of being on flat level ground lol.

@anon120202 жыл бұрын
I'm writing this response twice because your comment can be taken two unique ways. One way is, in my opinion, fine, while the other is missing the point of neighbors entirely. Note: Normally not much of a commenter here, and I would have surely replied with neither response if your comment had only been clear. 1.) If you are being serious, and you're saying that the neighbors do, in fact, love him in that they are very appreciative of him, then yes, fine, I agree. Weird ellipsis use, but fine. 2.) If, however, you are commenting sarcastically (maybe the ellipsis was a bad choice), that means your point of view on this is far enough away from mine that maybe I can give you another point of view that I would argue is healthier. You may disagree, and that is your right. If you live in a snowy climate, as I do, in the northern US, you get lots of snow at a time. The amount of snow shown in this video is both normal in my area and not even 50% of what we sometimes get. When this happens, the city/town/county/state/whatever sends out plows to plow the streets because commerce. There are tons of people who work weekends, so it's a race to twilight to plow everything overnight any day of the week but 5 out of 7 times it's super critical and an essential service to clear fire lanes to homes. It sounds like a sort of peaceful job if you ask me. Not surprising to find it as ASMR. My point is, if you're commenting about the noise, I can tell you that larger louder plow trucks shake the house as the plow the road outside and I'd go out on a limb here and say that most people would find it rather soothing like a slow train rumble. If that is not enough for you. Consider the fact that moving snow is DIFFICULT by hand and time consuming and exhausting to do even with a snowblower. This man is saving what looks like multiple households of people from backbreaking work they'd have to do between waking up and getting in their car for work. So before the shower...so right away for a lot of people. Bed. Cold. Thumbs down from me, you may feel differently. These folks now have critical access to town/emergency services/food. Less work to do. Don't have to be cold. If they got woken up, they could probably adjust the blankets, get cozy, snooze for another 2-3 hours in the morning and be happy that instead they don't have to get up and become the Michelin Man only to sweat out their entire undershirt and destroy their back shoveling. This is not something you take for granted or complain about. This is a great example of what it means to be a good neighbor. TL;DR - write better comments Laughed pretty hard at the burp.
