So much for fixing up your house and selling it.... seems to be you're planting for a lifetime now. And why not, it's the perfect little slice of paradise. Plus with a tractor now and implements, the two of you are becoming quite the busy little beavers. Your plot of land is going to be highly productive and feed you and many others without any trouble. You and David could be very happy there for a lifetime now. Well done and I wish you luck in growing all the plants.
@jacquelinewells75752 жыл бұрын
This is the first I've heard of them fixing up and selling their house. I watch everyone of their videos and have never heard them mention that. Was so nice of Deivids aunt to gift you with so many trees and plants. I hope they grow up to be big beautiful trees that provide tons of fruit. Some are worried they were planted too deep. The base should not be below the ground. So hopefully they will be alright. I can't wait to see everything growing and when you get your garden going. Hope all the seeds you planted are doing well. Noticed in the last video Deivids got a hair cut. Looks good. Never apologize for a long video. I love watching you guy's. Your videos are so calming and relaxing with the music you play and seeing the animals out running around and everything else that's going on. Love watching the storks. Hope your rooster is now staying home. See you on the next video.
@rodcharlton18892 жыл бұрын
@@jacquelinewells7575 yes, in one of the original Q&A videos they mentioned that they originally intended to buy the property, fix it up and sell it. Then continue with their nomadic life. But they really like this place and plus Deivid has relatives around so things changed. I think things changed rather quickly once they got started on the house and realized what a great place it is with really good neighbors. It would be hard to give that up.

What you pronounce pear as ‘Peer’ we English speakers pronounce it as ‘Pare’. Also you say eatable and we say edible. Love the episode, you were like two newsreaders going back and forth. Hi David and Dessy, Aunty's is amazing and so thoughtful. Looking forward to seeing everything grow. Lots of storage and produce videos. Gooseberry pie is one of them,my favourite. David you must have found the oughing so satisfying, your soil is lovely. The raking breaks up the soil to a finer tilth, ready for planting. Your daffodils are so beautiful out for Easter and letting us know Spring has arrived. Wild garlic,at home you could smell it after the deer had walked through in the early mornings. Planting and positioning takes time,as usual you both work as a team. I love you both, 2 amazing young people. Stay safe and thanks for including us in your lives.

A great deal of activity on this video. It shows how you have to get a firm grip on the farm for the start of the growing season. I hope that you can keep the sheep and goats away from the bushes and trees so, they can grow and supply you with their fruit. The ploughing went well, the equipment is old, it all did what you needed it to do. I trust you see some good returns on all of these efforts. So harvest time will bring you plenty to last through the winter.

Good morning! What you do with planting all the bushes and trees, which origins from Europe, is something very important, because you are creating a fruit hedge, which acts like natural windbreaker on your fields and, if the hedges become bigger and a bit tighter, it will give all kinds of birds, insects and other small animals. This is the kind of ecological thing, what maintains our landscape and our fauna. If I may give you a little advice? In every plant whole give a handful of shredders of horn, even when you consider your soil as fertile. It gives your trees and bushes an extra boost. And … 😁… do you want to have bees?

I'm sure you will enjoy all of the new trees and bushes that you planted. I've discovered lovely cherry bushes and have been enjoying tart cherries that I graze and harvest daily for a couple of weeks in late spring to very early summer. They're pretty with white flowers and the they slowly grow and turn dark red and beg me to pick them. You might see if you can find some of those and use them as a beauty screen that also gives you food. I'm sure your fruit harvests will keep you supplied for years to come and give you lots of winter enjoyment. I enjoy seeing your land improvements.
