Man I did a custom 21/2 inch open header and exhaust on mine with a power commander 5 and the ecu has been flashed raised the limiter and fattened up the top end some! Now it pulls the wheel in 2nd just rolling on the throttle line it used to in first! Plus it will do a good 155mph actual! Got new pirreli tires to! Pretty things they are and amazingly sticky! She just hooks and books now! Sounds mean to!

Update. Guess what. Got the gsx s1000. What a sexy lady. The stock can sounds awesome. Still got the cat in mine but have the ixil twin pipes. Got but not fitted, the lexmark full pipes and headers. Working like slave to save for the woolich ecu full kit with logger. For fueling correction for straight through pipes. Thinking I may go back to a gutted stock can. Thanx for your video. Came back to hear yours sing. 1luv.

Salut pas mal ta nouvelle meule , le MT09 ne te suffisait plus !! LOL 😉😉 un gsx-s 1000 Suzuki c'est 150 bourrins . Pour un 3 cylindres c est très coupleux plus que le 1000 😅😅 si je devais prendre un 1000 ça serait aussi un gsx-s 1000 ...😍😍mais je pense m'orienter sur un 765 RS triumph une moyenne cylindrée comme je roule pas beaucoup ..😉😉😁😁

Oui oui je sais mauvaise écriture de message désoler. Je disais que la MT09 à plus de couple parce que c'est un 3 cylindres tandis que le gsx-s 1000 c'est un 4 cylindres .J'ai eut l'occasion d'essayer un gsx-s 1000 version full et un 765 et un speed 1050 version full le 3 cylindres est nettement plus coupleux ..😁😁

It's off. You can tell by the orange light on the bottom right of the dash.

With a reflash, the engine can take 12,600 rpm (+500 over stock). The original K5 on which it was based was 13,500 rpm with titanium valves. The GSX-S has steel valves. kzbin.info/www/bejne/oGi3foWOoMSroJo Unfortunately Suzuki didn't do a bloomin' thing to the GSX-S gearing from the GSXR track bike. 1st is way too tall and the rest are stacked closely on top of that, 6th being too low.

Its a bloody good in town at low revs any gear. Not just gear ratios. Its a very torque engine. So close ratio box means I use the torque for acceleration and top end speed with max hp at 11,300 rpm and max torque at 9700. Much higher than the k/y/h brands. So here's the Blooming thing, am cruising at 30mph, in 5th. Get to 40mph then 6th, and the dual carriageway opens up to national speed limit. I hear the other bike shift. Am still cruising in 6th. And can catch the kawa, honda yam ktm bmw. Its how my rf900 also rides. But 5 gears. Huge torque and it pulls. Please have a look at the gearing ratios and the torque (flat) curve and referenced with rpm. For the tune, focus in mid range fueling and timing to increase torque and move the hp to rpm limiter.

@@zonta71 What I'm saying is, the bike idles at about 1200 rpm, and in 1st gear you cannot go any slower (without slipping clutch) than 8.5 mph. That's too quick, especially if you're in traffic creeping, stop and go, or on an uphill in traffic and stop and go. Parking lot speeds are lower. By the time you get into the midrange, you're already doing 45 mph in 1st gear. It's too stinking tall. The engine has a lot of torque. Which means it could stand to use a tall 6th gear and not be spinning so quickly while cruising.
