I have an old PlayStation 2 game pad and a PS2 to USB adapter, but not all buttons are recognized on PC/console. Do you think using an HID Remapper would help?

You can certainly use it to adapt that setup to, say, a Switch or a PC. Though on a PC it's probably not necessary, you can likely just configure your adapted controller in Steam and use it that way.

@@jfedor Sorry, I should have provided more information. All buttons work except the right analog stick, which isn’t functioning as a right analog stick should work. the controller I'm talking about is this one, HORI Super Robot Wars Controller, As a one-handed gamer, it took me a while to find a suitable solution I was hoping to get this to work.

@@iTsMike010 I can't guarantee anything as I don't have your particular controller/adapter combo, but in general what I said in my previous comment is true, that's one of HID Remapper's intended use cases.

Can I use the Adafruit Feather RP2040 with USB Type A Host? and how do you connected to the adaptive controller if it doesn't have a male USB connecter.

Yes! Just use a USB A-to-C cable.

I'm interested in using a trackpad as the right joystick on an Xbox controller. Are there any potential problems with using the HID Remapper for this, and can I get banned from games for using it?

If your trackpad works as a mouse then it should work. As for bans I can't really speak for the game devs.

Yes. (The Xbox Adaptive Controller does, not HID Remapper directly.)

In other words, No - it does not work on an Xbox console. You can only use the HID remapper with the Xbox Adaptive Controller.
