I used a B-15 at the University of North Texas. We had them in the lab bands. I played through a ‘60s era model and it sounded shockingly good! Couldn’t believe that little amp sounded almost perfect without trying. The friendliest amp I’ve ever used. Very smooth and forgiving. That’s rare in the bass world. Or it used to be.

People out there.. TRY IT IN PARALLEL !! ..it's possible because many of the cabinet symulations are actually phase coherent (!) :D For low end it's basically the best parallel distortion I ever heared!

Great point! Many amp emulations include the time it takes for the sound from the speaker to get to the mic as part of the emulation. This will add a latency .3 ms or greater

I think I have used this on almost every mix since the UAD version came out. It's great to have the flexibility of running it natively.
