Now make a midi controller that looks exactly the same and where done. Seriously, some kind of fancy midi controller like softube did would be great. Put Native Instruments to work and I'm not kidding.

This is a cool idea. If you could use something like this to control every bx_console plugin, it would deliver a ton of value.

Trialling it at the moment. Incredibly transparent, versatile and hi-fi, however CPU usage seems too heavy to use multiple instances of it across a project (compared with your SSL console emulations, for example).

Does this work with Reaper daw? I'm using amek 9099 with reaper and vst3 amek 9099 sidechain doesn't work so always I have to use VST Amek 9099 when I prefer VST3. Downloaded bx_Console Amek 200 and when I m checking it in Reaper daw for compressor side chain feature Reaper Daw crashes. I love Amek 9099 and will request Plugin Alliance and Brainworx to test their plugin in REAPER DAW as well. I was about to buy Bx Console Amek 200 but this crash thing is holding me back. I'm using Reaper daw 7.17 version.

The EQ module alone is worth it. Just the ability alone to turn on and off different frequency ranges per module.

Love using the hardware on mixanalog. The plug-in sounds great and the thd actually does something. It’s so subtle on the hardware it’s almost pointless. I wish it got a bit more edgy would be a perfect hw unit if that was the case

Come on Brainworx, you can do better. 10x more CPU usage than brainworx Console SSL E, G, Console N 5x more CPU usage than brainworx Focusrite, SSL J, AMEK 9099, Lindell 80 3x more CPU usage than Lindell 50 2.5x more CPU usage than Lindell 69 2x more CPU usage than Lindell Channel X

Sounds good
@HoldMyBeerFam Жыл бұрын
This is a little off topic but, with TMT technology does switching channels result in a random algorithm or if i find two channels stereo that I like and thinks sound good, will they always sound the same or will it be random the next time I try and use those same channels in a different instance of the plugin or new session project in my daw? Simply put are the TMT channels the same throughout plugins or are they random variations on the sound for basically that one particular instance of the plugin
@brianwalton2602 Жыл бұрын
Not random, channels are always the same. Just like if you worked on a console channel 5, 6 sounds the same each time, not some variation of circuitry that changes each time. My question is the THD just the same saturation they put on all their plugins instead of being unique to each strip type, seems a major shortcoming on these strips in the PA stable even though they are the best on the market, which improvement could be made .
@HoldMyBeerFam Жыл бұрын
@@brianwalton2602 I agree I would like to know that as well. Thats kinda why i asked this because i was curious
@PluginAllianceTV Жыл бұрын
@@brianwalton2602 The THD algorithm used in each analog-modeled plugin is unique, based on the hardware components that have been modeled. The level of detail and precision that goes into our modeling process is something that makes us stand out from many other plugin companies.

30minsof my life and not a single question answered... Pretty much everything you told is what I can see just by looking at the interface, while what I cant see could have been summed up in a few minutes. But the things I need to know to convince me this plugin can replace the 9099, like how this plugin is compensating for the missing functions, like seperate knobs for attack and release, the lack of notch filters, or the missing glow and sheen, is still not explained. Can you do another video explaining how to achieve uneven attack/release settings, as well as how to mimmick glow, sheen and notch filters?

This looks great! Although I really wish V Gain was removed from all of your plugins 😬
@PluginAllianceTV Жыл бұрын
You can turn it off if you'd prefer not to use it. An even more efficient solution is to save a new default plugin preset with V Gain disabled. Every time you load the bx_console AMEK 200 onto a track, V Gain will be deactivated.
@hisroyalsucculence Жыл бұрын
Yeah, I just wish the default was that it was off, but certainly I'll continue saving it in the "off" setting as default. I just don't enjoy getting the end of a project and wondering where all the noise is coming from 😂@@PluginAllianceTV
@PluginAllianceTV Жыл бұрын
@@hisroyalsucculence The good news is that there's a "V Gain ALL" knob that allows you to adjust the V Gain in every instance of the plugin at once! Even if you find yourself in that situation, it's an easy fix!

With more and more compositional production tools available, it is stunning to me how redundant …banal … derivative ‘contemporary’ electronic music sounds to me; not another programmed ratchet/insect hihat! Sorry, a critique that is NOT on the product here but rather the edm groove based sample material used towards the front of this video. I wish there to be a collective aesthetic turn elsewhere. Not only does the entire genre of ‘mass appeal’ music ‘sound’ vacuously un-original but I’m so inundated by it, it is starting to invoke a visceral irritation. I can’t even focus on the product they are promoting at this point.
